I hear ya.All these night games are driving me nuts. Don't like waiting all day for a kickoff!
I just turned 64. When I KNOW I’m going to consume mass quantities of alcohol…my adult beverage of choice is vodka screwdrivers. One third vodka, one third OJ, one third club soda. During the game Saturday, I had 8 drinks (2 every quarter). Went to church Sunday fresh as a daisy! The sin is not drinking, the sin is drunkenness. If I woke up with an hangover, I would have to explain my actions to the Lord! You make that sound like it’s a bad thing.
Good question, they may be looking at an acc game that night too, but Look for Tennessee to be the ABC game. The Vols will be #4 .Help a brother here - looks like either ABC or ESPN, what is the decision the networks are weighing ? There is no other SEC game option per the picture at the top…. So, what would ABC choose to show instead ? Dancing with the stars ?
I prefer the 3:30 slot because for home games it allows me to get hot in time to eat a late dinner and unwind before going to bed at midnight. When away game are played at night it is some better but I still can not get to sleep until 1am. Afternoon away games allow me to watch another good game in the comfort of my own home and snack/ drink as I wish.I prefer the night games. Gives me time to get Good and lathered up and get my meat on the smoker without having to get up at 4 AM to start
I don't think we've won there since it was Kelly Washington versus Batman Caroll if I remember correctly. A game that got lightning storm delayed for like an hour. Was that the game with the keystone cops punt coverage? Historically, things haven't gone very well down there for us.
That ‘99 game still pisses me off. We had no business losing that, and it cost us a shot at the NC.
Even though we won, the Memphis game felt like a loss too.Would have gotten to play the bubbas in the SEC championship as well. Although, for some reason that was a pretty hot team. '99 was a frustrating season. Losing to Florida and Arkansas was rough, not to mention that Cornhusker rape and pillage.
That is distinct possibility. Arkansas should be 4 and 0 right now. In their only loss to OKST, they massively outgained the pokes and outplayed them as well on the road. If they could have held onto the ball they should have won.If Arky were to upset Texas A&M this weekend they might slide into the rankings in time for the Tennessee game imo.
Texas vs OU will be the 3:30 (likely ABC) game. Ole Miss vs LSU will be a night game (maybe ABC) depending their performances up to that game. I would guess Tennessee either gets the 7pm ESPN slot or the 3:30 ESPN slot. I’m hoping it’s a night game in Neyland. Imagine the environment with a 5-0 top 4 team in the country under the lights in Neyland.. especially after a full day of drinking. What time are we guessing the Florida game starts? im gonna be in Knoxville for that one, I hope it’s a 3:30 game.
