If the defense struggles it will ONLY be because Tim Banks wet the bed. Florida's OL was atrocious against Utah. I expect dump penalties/mistakes to be fixed but they're just not a good team. Mertz can make plays but not with his legs, which is always going to kill Banks.

I just feel Napier doesn't want to let our offense get rolling and he'll eat clock on the ground if he can at all. They're not good but I have a feeling, again no reason except I think Napier has few choices, they'll try to grind and maybe toss some tricks in.

We'll settle in. It's nowhere near a loss but I think the D will be the topic here for hand winging next week, not the O.

I LOVE THIS!!!! THIS is what we want proactively and not AFTER we lose. The players see that they were the ones who weren’t ready and if they do that again it’ll lead to a loss. They got away with it once.

Let's be honest here...these never change anything. When they have these when a coach is on the hot seat, the coach still always gets fired. It's good to see them acknowledge the misfires, but these meetings only serve to get message boards and Twitter fired up.

Florida’s new DC runs a revolving door player rotation to keep his players fresh. That’s always been fairly difficult to do against our warp drive offense. While he may have bits of success early on, his depth dwindles as his guys get totally gassed and there’s no tank refills available. I expect we’re going to see his guys have multiple “injuries”, such as cramps, used in an attempt to break our tempo especially in the 2nd half.
