All I remember from this board is that no one even knew what he looked like and they haven't spotted him at practice.

Some anonymous person over a message board saying they saw him at a game, not sitting on the bench, does little to disprove the point.

But an anonymous person on a message board saying there was a fight does prove the point? You seriously either are just playing the fool and yanking people's chains or have a serious cognitive process disability.

I don't say something like that when only having one source. I had three different friends that attended UT and all told me the same thing(they don't know each other so not as if they secretly collaborated). Then I heard the same things they were telling me by a guy on this board who has season tickets. He wasnt being a know it all about it, he told everyone exactly where they sit, said get binoculars and look and you'll see them, some on here did and verified.

So I've heard very similar reports from people that a week or so after this incident they say chievous, and none of them saw any markings. I don't doubt that there was indeed a fight, but I seriously doubt that chievous nose and jaw were broke.

You're the only one saying this, yet you also in that version said he will be dismissed at seasons end. That obviously didn't happen, so why should anyone think the rest of your story is accurate either? Obviously your "source" had incorrect info(chievous' dismissal) so why believe the rest of you're story when I've got 4 people all with complete opposite reports?

What is funny is I have been going back to find the threads about Stokes injury. I don't see him in them. Either there is another thread I cannot find or he came late to the party and is using VN as his source.

I think the Cam Clear incident shows that if there is a real fire making the smoke, it doesn't just leak out on one thread on Tigerdrippings and die on a thread on VN. The Cam Clear thing was everywhere almost instantly, and Dooley and the PR people at the University were refusing to comment on it to reporters while trying to get to the bottom of it behind the scenes.

Had there been a fight that sent a UT player to the hospital in any sport it would be EVERYWHERE the next day. CCM would have had to at least deny it on the record once . The fact that it only exists here, in a couple threads in VN, is all the proof anyone needs that it didn't happen.

OK. Im going to settle a little bit of this ridiculously stupid argument.

1) Chievous was away from the team for some time. This is a fact.

2) You can only assume he was suspended for some reason. There WERE rumors of a fight, and rumors of his bad attitude about red shirting. But a reason wasn't given for his "disappearance". It may have been academic too. Heck maybe he had some home trouble and had to clear his head. And it is very possible that he would still be required to sit on the bench during games.

3) When you are suspended or away from the team, you still go to class, still have to finish the semester. Saying people saw him in class as an excuse for saying he wasn't suspended is boarder line ludicrous. Student athletes must go to class (even though we know the reality of this).

This bickering is annoying.

You apparently misinterpreted. Nobody is saying his being in class means he wasn't suspended. His being in class with no facial markings, a week after supposedly having his jaw and nose broke kind of disputed that. Nobody is saying he absolutely wasn't suspended, the issue people have is the person that said all this about chievous being hospitalized with those injuries also said he was DISMISSED from the team according to his sources. Obviously this wasn't true as hes still on the team.

Is it ironic that we are talking about a guy getting his nose and jaw broken in this thread considering King apparently took a wicked elbow in the finals of the Nike Global Challenge today? Reported he left on a stretcher for precautionary measures.

Just saw that. Precautionary measures with the stretcher, maybe a concussion, but apparently lots of blood on the floor. Hopefully he's ok.

Yeah, there was a thing earlier about him walking around with both his knees iced. Kid is going to need to take it easy for a bit.
