Vols in Nick King's final four

I'm not leaving him out, I like him, but if you bring in guys like hubbs and king Richardson will have trouble seeing the floor.[/QUOTE
Actually that's not true. Richardson is a hard worker and Zo rewards those players that put forth effort day in and day out. He showed that with Tatum. Hello? Richardson has drastically improved his defensive skills and has gained alot of confidence in that short range jumper. To say he would be benched is absurd. He knows the system. As good as these young brothas are it would still be a transition for some of them to start.

Hahahaahaha you keep thinking that Richardson would start over hubbs or king, thats a good one. It doesn't matter how hard of a worker he is, he isn't starting over either of them. And HELLO, but the reason cam kept playing was because we didn't have another choice, DUH!

So in your opinion then mcbee and Richardson will both be starters this whole year because they're the hardest workers? Classic post.

It's not all cherries and roses, sometimes pure talent actually plays a factor. King and hubbs are 2 guys who are going to play hard, if they weren't CCM wouldn't be recruiting them. If he was to being in those guys and bench them behind Richardson you can forget about landing top prospects again for awhile. Both king and hubbs are NBA talent, probably one or two and done, they're not coming to a school that they're going to play behind

RW was a very hard worker, so why didn't he see more minutes? Talent does play a role, this isn't Rudy, sorry...

While I agree with everything you say here, must it always be attack mode with people you don't agree with? I actually read this forum and the football and recruiting forums as well but I rarely ever post on those two other forums because it is near impossible to have a discussion without someone going into full assault mode. I would hate for this forum to turn into the same thing.

Just my 2 cents.

I will have to disagree with you on that one. The thought process in Memphis is changing quick. Players are willing and will leave the M to come play for Zo. That's a point of fact. Stokes was the first to break down that wall and he has been an ambassador for Zo and the program. Kids are listening and it has put a ton of pressure on Pastner. He knew this was coming especially when he found out last year that Zo was going to certain recruits hoops games and starting relationships. From what I understand Pastner did not take that well but was is he gonna do. Zo is a man amongst boys and he can hang in any inner city environment and kids listen to what he has to say. He is another option to get out of the M. Not just to get to the NBA but to develop into upstanding young men. Zo brings that extra umph to the table that Pastner can't bring and it is burning him up.

Probably some of the funniest crap I’ve read in quite some time. 99.9 of college basketball fans outside of Knoxville believe the Stokes signing was a fluke. I'm not saying he was guaranteed to sign with Memphis, UK, etc, but let’s not ignore the most important variable involved with his recruitment (available scholarship and not having to sit out a year). CCM is supposed to attend games and establish relationships with recruits if he wants to increase his chances of signing them; he's not doing anything different than the coaches before him. The inner city kids in Memphis are Tigers first, and no one in that town gives a crap about UT (sad but true). The city doesn't mind losing kids to other schools outside of Knoxville, the kids that sign with UT are basically considered traders. Zo has a good shot at landing Nichols, but he's not a guy the Tigers ever had a chance of landing. Nichols probably kept Memphis in the hunt just to have his recruitment followed by the Commercial Appeal and other local media outlets. As for Hubbs he's not a Memphian, so the city or the university isn't a major recruiting factor for him.

The only reason I talked that way was because of how he talked to me, thus the HELLO comments(something he put in his OP)

It's fine if he didn't agree, but him dropping the HELLOS and acting like I'm and idiot deserved a likewise response that's all.

And king, jw3 and Crawford?

If you say so. I just think maybe you cut a guy with something like 15 total posts some slack instead of trying to run him off.

I guess, I just didn't see the need on him coming on here and taking to me like I'm an idiot when I've never talked to the guy before.

Kind of a bold first post on the bball forum that's all.

Well it want his first post on the BB forum I didn't think. And don't take this the wrong way, but you have told me before "not to be so sensitive". Maybe take your own advice.

Edit: first, okay you were right about it being his first post on the BB forum. And 2nd based on his football posts, just go ahead and run him off. That's what I get for giving people the benefit of the doubt.

Hahaha no harm done, my tool radar is usually pretty good, and he seemed like one.

LOL, ok man. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

You really need to learn to talk without calling people names.

As for the Memphis media, they were in the tank for Calipari right up till he dumped them and went to UK.

Again, if you think that, then you're foolish. People in town were Cal fans, but no one with half a mind thought he was squeaky clean.

Well since you commented on the last part I assume you can read.So since you won't take my advice on the first part here goes.

I guarantee I am not foolish. I would for example know to check around before reporting that a player was injured by punching another player in the face and that the 2nd player had his jaw broken and wired shut and had been dismissed from the team for it. And my only source for that to be a message board of a rival team. That would be truely foolish.

As for the media thing, alright man, Memphis media is objective, Will West is a God of media, and you have the ability (as a Memphis fan) to know what is objective about Volunteer sports and what is not. Gotcha.

Bahahaha that sums up MC pretty much.

Lol, I like how you guys are still in denial about the fight. It came from your own bball staff!

People may deny it, and no one can prove that Chievous was suspended, but the surrounding facts can certainly support this story. There was a fight, Chievous went incommunicado fpr several weeks. Draw your own conclusions.

Or you can keep chearleading.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I rest my case.

You've already stated your predeliction for homerism, I wouldn't expect you believe this even when the facts are sitting right before your eyes.

Ignorance is bliss. Rah-rah-rah!!!

And Yet you ignore the fact that he was seen a week later, pretty sure a broken nose and jaw would be visible 7 days later.

And king, jw3 and Crawford?

As for JWIII, I've always thought that he would leave the state (Georgetown).

Crawford could likely be a Vol, Memphis just doesn't have room for him and he isn't a high priority.

King is CJP's highest priority, he's more than likely a Tiger. If by any chance King signs with UT then Pastner could be in trouble.
