Well, we're up 120-13 thus far this year, against two teams much better than Kent State. That's an average score of 60 to 7. A 53 point margin each game.

48 may be a ton, but 53 is even more.

I don't bet on sports, but admit I was very tempted Week 1 and 2. The lines for both Chattanooga and NC State seemed WAY too low to me.

Not so much this week. -48 is one of those lines where you might be betting on 'running up the score' a bit. Still pretty decent chance we beat that, but this line feels more correct than the first two.

I don't care much about the score. We need to quickly build a lead and then protect our starters from injury. That is the main focus here. Gameday will be in Oklahoma next week when Tennessee plays and we must be healthy

That’s simply not true. They replayed that live and the announcers both said they may have been a couple yards past the LOS but the penalty was ticky tack, probably a mercy call.

Could be perfect for the lead-up to Oklahoma. Better than a bye week, and less taxing than a higher tier opponent. Probably, Gaston will get some needed reps and our key play makers will be able to rest after a few reps. Yeah, I think this is perfect as long as everyone stays healthy.
