It is a ton. The unknown in games like this is how long Coach will keep his 1st string players in the game. This is likely to be the last game for backups to get live game experience before this season gets SERIOUS. Coach Heupel might want to maximize game time for his bench and accept a less overwhelming margin.Kent State is dog crap no doubt but 48 points is a ton.
I told yall, starters play the first half, actually Nico was out before the half, but the spread was already covered. EASILY. And Tennessee's 3rd team is better than Kent's First team. That Defense isn't letting up, and Heuple keeps playing till the last whistle. THAT is why Neyland Had 101K for KENT Damn STATE! It's Entertainment!!So do the backups seal the deal and beat the spread?
How Much Should Tennessee's Starters Play Against Kent State?
It's a longstanding debate among football fans and coaches: How long should starters play in a blowout game? Barring a shockingly close game against Kent State,www.si.com
It would be in Tennessee's best interests to get Iamaleava, running back Dylan Sampson, and other important offensive and defensive starters plenty of rest this week before conference play begins.
