Keys to this game for the Vols are as follows:
1. Win the turnover battle - Both Fla and Ky turned the ball over 4 times, and I don't think Vandy had any turnovers. If Fla had not turned it over, they win the game, and Ky had a chance if they had not turned it over. Vols need to get at least 2 more turnovers than Vandy.
2. Stop the Vandy running game. Vandy has not been exceptional with their running game, but I think Kimbrow is pretty fast, and we know how the Vols do with fast backs. The D-line needs a good push and needs to stop him before he gets started.
3. Vols need to run the ball successfully, and hit enough passes to keep them honest.
4. Special teams has not been that bad until last game, needs to control Vandy kicking game as they were doing earlier in the season.
Vandy's wins against better teams have been mostly the result of turnovers. Instead of Bama, they played Texas A&M, and instead of Auburn, they played Ole Miss. and instead of Oregon, they played UMass, so they clearly haven't played as difficult of a schedule overall as the Vols have. The Vols can beat Vandy, but they have to bring their A game. Vandy would like nothing better than to be Tennessee in Knoxville, so we better be ready.
