So you know what's going to happen before the game is played? Wow. So who is going to win the Super Bowl so I can go ahead and place my bet :eek:lol:. Stupid post. We could come out and beat Vandy by 30 or get beat by 30. The fact is every game is undecided until played.

Don't act like you know what's going to happen.

He could be a modern day Nostradamus.
Don't you act like he doesn't know!

Last year they blew the doors of us.This year we have the same bad defense. Offense also not nearly as good as last year.Don't get me wrong,I hope we win. But it will be close. Some of our fans saying we're gonna blow them out=Irrational!

Vol fans weren't impressed with Oregon, Mizzou, and Auburn before UT played them.

Average beatdowns from those 3 teams:

Opponents: 48
UT: 13

Right, I think the key to beating Vandy is to score more points than they do. :)

Keys to this game for the Vols are as follows:
1. Win the turnover battle - Both Fla and Ky turned the ball over 4 times, and I don't think Vandy had any turnovers. If Fla had not turned it over, they win the game, and Ky had a chance if they had not turned it over. Vols need to get at least 2 more turnovers than Vandy.
2. Stop the Vandy running game. Vandy has not been exceptional with their running game, but I think Kimbrow is pretty fast, and we know how the Vols do with fast backs. The D-line needs a good push and needs to stop him before he gets started.
3. Vols need to run the ball successfully, and hit enough passes to keep them honest.
4. Special teams has not been that bad until last game, needs to control Vandy kicking game as they were doing earlier in the season.

Vandy's wins against better teams have been mostly the result of turnovers. Instead of Bama, they played Texas A&M, and instead of Auburn, they played Ole Miss. and instead of Oregon, they played UMass, so they clearly haven't played as difficult of a schedule overall as the Vols have. The Vols can beat Vandy, but they have to bring their A game. Vandy would like nothing better than to be Tennessee in Knoxville, so we better be ready.

The caliber of athletes UT will face in this game will be peanuts compared to the last 3-4 games. I think they come out motivated and get it done in neyland.

Heck we had some that weren't "impressed" with Alabama, and it wasn't drive-by posters either. So add that one in too.

Actually last year people were using the "I'm not impressed" stuff before the VU game. In fact the whole "impressive" stuff hasn't been too kind to us this season.

Having said all that, VU sucks.

Has nothing to do with what ppl said last yr. They aren't as good as last yr. This is a game where UT matches up very well.

Also the past two seasons we've heard how UT is going to be up for this game and blow away VU, and it didn't happen.

Anyone who thinks Vany won't be a test for us is delusional, but anyone who thinks Vandy will beat us has a p*ss poor attitude.

Do you say this in the "make a prediction" threads?

I don't seem to recall you making fun of posters for making predictions in those threads.
