If we played a ACC or Big 10 schedule with the level of competition they play week to week, we would projected In the top 5. Expect we will be top 15 by other preseason polls at minimum. I do like how our schedule is structured next year.
Of the players we are replacing, the only ones who matter are Hooker, Hyatt, and Wright. Tillman is a stud but we already proved we can win without him. We may not have a WR with the same stats as Hyatt but collectively the group will be deeper and potentially more talented post the transfer portal results, however younger. Hooker > Milton due to intangibles but Milton has physical talent and I’m confident that Heupel will put him in best position to succeed. Wright, we don’t have anyone who can replace him individually but again much like WR collectively we may be deeper and more talented on the OL if we land somebody like Campbell.
Everyone else we have personnel to replace.
