I agree but this is just an idiot trying to build Creditabilty.
Nobody will look back at this prediction come August.
FSU - Top 10 - ACC
Clemson - by name and Conference Only
Washington - Top 10
Oregon - by name and Conference Only. They got it wrong with Utah this year. USC?
LSU is LSU. Never know my guess is that they will digress.
PSU again 3rd in the B10 by Name and Conference Only
TN was an afterthought. Did not think about the team until he was in the teens.

I am predicting that FSU will be that overhyped top ten team that ends up falling out of top 25 by the end of the season.

It seems like we have 2-3 of those teams every year.

It really doesn't matter much where we start out, it's where we finish. Win games and it takes care of itself. We are losing several of our top players, so, 15 to 18 is about right in my thinking.

FSU is going to be the media darling going into next season. I’m guessing LSU will be too. I’m sure their kickoff game will have Gameday there and all of that. I honestly don’t care where we start. We were unranked to start and we were #1 in early November . If we win we’ll be fine.

That QB of theirs is good. He's going to be hell next year I'm afraid. With the soft ACC schedule and the decline of Clemson they could be up there next year. Gotta play LSU in Tampa early I think. If they win that it sets up well for them after.

Just looking at the teams in front of us:
1)LSU we absolutely destroyed at their home. I know some would point out they’re playing much better football but Georgia also destroyed them. They’re playing much better football till the face a great team. People could argue were worse without Hooker and Hyatt and that’s fair but idk that LSU could be considered better than Tennessee.
2)Clemson- didn’t we just play Clemson’s 2023 team? And what was the result?
Plenty of others are just insane like Texas, Texas Tech, Utah, Penn State being ranked above Tennessee.

We should be ranked much higher but this will only help us.

I believe 247 has UT at 12. The Vols were unrated as late as the beginning of the season this past year. Other than weak competition, I'm not sure where the Clemson love is coming from.

Sporting news put out their early 2023 rankings and have Tennessee at 5 which I personally think is more realistic. If we get the Joe Milton from the orange bowl and that same intensity on defense we should have a great shot at the playoffs next year. That's one of the main reasons I'm fine with opt-outs, we got an early 2023 preview in the orange bowl. Alot to get better at but the potential is there.

This is completely ridiculous and waaay too early. Too much can happen between now and Fall Practice.

Yep this is exactly where I am. Just simply too many variables to make any such predictions. Yeah I get naming 10-15 or more teams that PROBABLY will be ranked BUT to assign a number beside their name in a ranking is approaching silliness. But hey…it’s what these guys do for clicks and reads and advertising etc. It just doesn’t deserve our emotions IMO.

Better than preseason prediction last year. No problem. I expect Alabama, Georgia, and LSU will begetter than last year. All e have to do is just beat the big three, Bama, Georgia, and Florida. We should go no worse than 2-1 against them and we will be back in at least the top 4. Don't sweat these way too early Stuff. We still don't even know who will be on our roster.
