Yep. As we've been saying in the other thread on the coach's poll, this weekend is an elimination game for both teams and we should expect all out war (not a literal Kellen Winslow war, obviously, but you know what I mean) on that field.

I didn’t believe IU had the speed but we all know Michigan’s recruiting and speed wasn’t the issue they matched fine there.

Fair point but I don’t think Michigan has it across the board like OSU does. Texas exposed Michigan in both speed and physicality. Texas and OSU are compatible in this regard. I think OSu is two TDs better at home.

Meh. I don't pay much attention to the AP poll. At the end of the day, we can't go back and play the Ar-Kansas game again. Vols need to win out to completely take it out of the hands of a selection committee because I am not at all confident they will get a fair shake. Many of the teams ranked in the top 15 by the AP are phonies. The Vols need to thump Georgia and with this defense and solid running game, I expect it to happen.

Indiana barely got by a poor Michigan team at home. Way overrated just like Miami. If we get to the playoffs, I’d love to see either one.

Heupel is not helping our cause by playing so conservative toward the end of games. Every point matters in todays playoff system. You're a fool if you think these playoff ADs and commissioners are actually sitting and watching all the games, they will look and see UT 33 - MSst 14 or they could just have just as easily seen 40-14. IT MATTERS, listen to what they talk about. Run the score up, pad the stats, every game. Teams like Ole Miss and Penn State do it every chance they get.
