Vols to add another commit to '15 class? (Joseph Young)

Until folks are having a fit next year when he's due a scholarship.

Blueshirts are fickle. There are rules regarding no officials visits to make a player eligible to receive one but there's no guarantee of a scholarship. IF one is granted, then yes it will come out of 2016.

It's a calculated risk for Joseph Young, as he well knows. If we start racking up recruits for 2016, I expect he will continue to be scholarship-less or transfer.

Don't say that now. I pointed that out with Bruce and Perry and was informed UT would NEVER do that to a kid. Drop them the day before NSD? Sure. Not deliver on a "promise of a scholarship"? Never.

Imo the BS stuff going forward will be interesting to watch.

In no relation to Devrin young :). I didn't see his thread or any mention of his addition.

247 Profile

Young, who was previously committed to UNC-Charlotte, is a three-star running back from Winnsboro, SC (Fairfield Central). 247Sports rates him as the 144th best 2015 running back in the nation and the 26th best 2015 player in the state of South Carolina.

Young, 6’0″/190 lbs, is a likely blueshirt candidate, meaning his scholarship would count toward next year’s class.

The Vols desperately need running back depth, especially with the loss of Kendall Bussey to Texas A&M.

Young’s addition to the Tennessee roster likely signals that running back Treyvon Paulk returning to the Vols is not in the plans.

Blue shirt guy? He's very fast and I was surprised at lack of offers for the guy because his film is pretty good. No idea the competition he faces but glad to have him.

I hope he doesn't need 50 tacos.

Or conduct interviews in pterodactyl.

I am fine with this.

I have a feeling this was a guy who is being evaluated basically only on sr film.

There are plenty of kids that dont have the money or dont understand they have to camp ect.

I have come to trust Jones and staff on these things.

Run like Foster? Nah. I don't see that at all.
Fosters feet are/were out of this world. Long speed is big different favoring young.

AF27's plant and cut are his calling card.
This kid doesn't have that (comparing HS & collegiate version of Arian only)
And physically, Arian's lean and pad level are uncomparable

I won't call young a stud, but I definitely wouldn't call him a Bum. He has power 5 speed for sure

So how much money did UT really give you? :)

Bruce and Perry are both longtime commits and in state guys. Screwing them over would be a huge PR disaster and could hurt future recruiting. I think they're safe.
