I think Elarbee likes Karic’s upside, but he needs to add weight. Karic started over Lane when healthy (even after Mays was back). Not sure how hard it would be to improve the LG position. It’s horrible.
Well hopefully we can upgrade at LG.I think Elarbee likes Karic’s upside, but he needs to add weight. Karic started over Lane when healthy (even after Mays was back).
Maybe @Stoerner Fumbles can add more to this, in terms of how the coaches view Karic.
I might be off but I think the coaches like the way Karic moves and the mentality that he plays with. But I think the issue is a lack of strength. He doesn't move defenders or maintain blocks like he needs to.I think Elarbee likes Karic’s upside, but he needs to add weight. Karic started over Lane when healthy (even after Mays was back).

Not sure if it got mentioned but he wore a single digit which is HUGE. Temple gives one single digit number to offense and one to defense which you have to earn and it is highly respected around the country. The last DB to earn a single digit was Rock Ya-Sin as a veteran. So as I haven’t watched him in depth yet that stands out to me right awayStewart is fading with us. It sounds like Oregon made a big time offer. McMurray is a strong lean. Banks knows him from PSU recruiting.
I think that’s exactly it, from what I gather. A great off-season to improve strength is just what this kid (and team) needs. Might also keep him healthy.I might be off but I think the coaches like the way Karic moves and the mentality that he plays with. But I think the issue is a lack of strength. -Auburn On3Been hearing things the last couple of days that lead me to believe Harris to Auburn no longer is in the cards. I feel comfortable saying that, as of today, I do not expect Harris to transfer to Auburn. Not sure of the specifics, but it’s been trending downward for a while, at least from my end.
Not badGranted his grade for this season wasn't great, but if you ask PFF they will tell you that their grades fluctuate more for perimeter plays than DT or guards for example because of a limited sample size (how many times was he thrown at vs a guard or DT who can be evaluated on every play).
