That is the way you play against a higher ranked team. Play your best and make them work to beat you. Very good effort from the Lady Vols. Arnold was excellent today,and lineup changes bore fruit. Great job.Ladies!!

This win puts us in really good shape to take third in the league. With Auburn and Alabama playing each other someone will have to lose so if we can beat A&M we will be third. I don't think we can sweep them which would mean second. I will be glad if we win two there hopefully we win one.

Kentucky is currently up on A&M 7-3 in the top of the 7th...if the hold on and win they win the series against A&M....where is the poster that said A&M is so great...I tried to tell him A&M isn't that great....they're good but nowhere near the top of SEC good

We will win 2 out 3 if not sweep if I'm wrong I'll gladly eat crow....I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong

Reynoso walked (3-2 BBBKKB).
Hoover struck out looking (2-2 KBBFK).
McLean reached on a fielder's choice, out at second 3b to 2b to 1b to 2b (1-2 BKSF); Reynoso out at second 3b to 2b.

Lady Vols and Auburn have identical league and overall records for now..if they win today then they would be up 1 in the win column so basically we have to win one more than they do? Alabama really needs to sweep as they are two back in the loss column and three back in the win column

I'll take 2 of 3 and just stay in Knoxville. Hopefully the bats are ready to go down there highly unusual for Gregg to have such a bad series as well as Leach.

McLean grounded to 3rd who tossed to 2nd for force but over threw for force at 1b..Mclean tried to advance but was thrown out at 2nd

I think we'll probably end up fourth but that is good enough for the bye. I don't care if Auburn buries Bama so we can easily get that fourth position.

Seeing A&M is what our offense needs especially starting with the way they went today...perfect heading into post season play

If we sweep them were second in the league which would be three slots higher than we were projected at the beginning of the season.

Taking 2 of 3 from A&M would give us a 7 and 4 record against the top 15 including three that were in the top ten when we played them. I think that should be good enough never know what the committee will do.

Tennessee 14-6
Auburn 14-6 could be 15-6 still playing Miss State and winning 6-1
Alabama 11-8 could also be 12-8 or 11-9 have one game left against Ole Miss tomorrow

Taking 2 of three from A&M gives us second or third depending on what happens Bama vs Auburn.

Were 14 and 6 and A&M is 15 and 5. Auburn about to go 15 and 6 with three games left with Bama. I don't expect Ole Miss to win but if they do it would be fantastic.

We need Ole Miss to win that game. That would put us is great position to take two of three and finish second. I believe Bama wins one game against them.

Needed that one bad. If Matty did not have to pitch in firs 3 inning she would win a lot more. Always struggles early regardless of the team. Geer woke up from her deep sleep today and no one more excited than myself. CJ showed out and Lockman was well Lockman. Bearden has a rifle for a gun and that throw to second to end the game proved it. Still have to have a first baseman and catcher who can hit. Great win against a very good pitcher and great team.
