How much fail are you going to dump on this thread anyway?

there's no fail on my part. i know everyone on the board loves him and i have no idea what they are looking at.

if you want to pretend aj johnson is a good linebacker and isn't extremely slow, that's fine.

it just isn't so.

I'm hoping OP meant top 5 offensive coashing staff?? Graham and Pittman are great. Definitely a stretch though as I'm not overly impressed with Cheney. That said, the offense ain't to blame. IF we come out and win the last 3 and a bowl and IF our defense has massive improvement with Sunseri not calling plays, I could see Dooles coming back.

Of course. D staff got to go

Hey Team,

Vols win 35-20. We beat Vandy by 7. We take UK to the woodshed and mushroom tat them in the face. And mess up Miami in the Music City Bowl.

It's going to be one of the History Channel Men Who Built Volnation stories.

As much criticism as Dooley gets for the D, look at the O. He has built a top 5 offense and a top 5 coaching staff.

But adversity has struck the team on D. No great man ever had it easy. It's in these times that Legends are born. UT seems to be a family that never gets down on themselves. A family that has the confidence and talent to put up points and make the stops on D.

Sal will go at the end of the year. But Dooley will stay. So will Bray and CP. The D will return all of it's starters (other than a criminally slow Herman Lathers). The vols will be back.

Nay sayers climb on if you want some... You got 2 days left. Then the wheels go in motion... And by January 1st you as well will be behind Dooley for 1 more year.

Hey Hey UT you look so good to me.

Hello all you Doolaid drinking fans. I am behind all the VOL teams, but I am not behind Dooley. He is a great guy, a man of integrity, and all that. However, he cannot coach his way out of a paper bag.

Seeing Neyland sit half empty and watching Dooley finger-count the players on the field for another year would be loads of fun. On the bright side, he has learned how to count correctly.

but he still has to call time out to get the correct number on the field

DD HAS NOT won ANY SEC games this yr!!!! he will be FIRED at the end of the season!!! a 4-17 record or whatever it is will NOT get him another year!!! you all are fools guzzling the doolaid and its making me SICK!!! get a grip with reality and realize winning cupcake games isnt going to get this football team ANYWHERE!!! I swear if he is retained im not watching any games next season...he is a failure of a SEC coach and cant win in crunch time or the top tier teams in the nation...hes done in my book...ill be shocked if we dont f--- this game up this weekend and actually beat a SEC school once this season....but i wont be surprised to see 0-6 at the end of the night....

Sorry. All I ever see is how good Aj will be next year. But aj is a reincarnation away from ever having speed
He's out of position.. Not big enough to play end without bulking up.. Not fast enough to be a MLB. He's one of those tweener guys that you can't hardly find a place for.. He's got all the heart and fire in the world, won't make him any faster though.. Gets blocked all the time also.. It's as if he finds someone to block him..

Oh I agree. I'm just still troubled by your inability to form meaningful relationships on your team's board that forces you to seek out legitimate internet intimacy with others on VN.

I hope not.I do not want Tennessee to lose. But i do not want another year with his excuses either.Lets just pray that Dave Hart will kick him to the curb.I can't take another year of this nonsense.

Again, (1) Should Dooley win out. He stays!!!

(2) Should Dooley lose one game, then Hart will look to replace him. If a better coach is not interested in U.T., then Dooley will stay., by default.

(3) Should Dooley lose more than one game and we don't qualify for a bowl game. then Dooley will be gone, regardless of who the new coach will be....

While i hope the OP is right about us winning out, I also hope the AD and admin are smart enough to realize that these are games we should win regardless. Dooley hasn't won a single game that has mattered, has lost a game that he shouldn't have, and nearly loses games against bad teams.
As for calling any fans at this point bandwagon fans, well thats just ridiculous. We haven't had bandwagon fans in a few years. We may have had some consider us before the UF game but after the MSU game they were all long gone. All the fans here are true, deep down fans and just because they don't agree with your or my opinions doesn't change that. We all want our beloved Vols to return to glory, we just have different views and opinions on how to accomplish that.

Hey Hey UT you look so good to me.

I guess you are saying get more accustomed to losing and just give up. If this happens there will be a revolt in Vol land and many more season ticket holders like myself will stop buying their season tickets. This year has been less than pathetic and damn sunshine pumpers like yourself are crazy if you think we will keep Dooley, either he goes or some 30 plus year fans and season ticket holders will go.

internet intimacy?

here is the language you will not hear from me on this board.

there will be no new age lingo spoken here. no support group jargon from the human potential movement. for instance, i will not share anything with you. i will not relate to you and you will not identify with me. i will give you no input and i will expect no feedback. this will not be a learning experience, nor will it be a growth period. there will be no sharing, no caring, no birthing, no bonding, no parenting, no nurturing. we will not establish a relationship. we will not have any meaningful dialogue and we definitely will not spend any quality time.

They won't win out.

I could never and will never root against the Vols, but the optimal outcome, at least in terms of possibly fielding a respectable team next year, is two wins and one loss.

This would ensure that Dooley is sacked but would also allow the players to play in a bowl game and have a chance to finish above .500. Furthermore, an imperfect end run might also reduce the likelihood that the Big Three (Big Four if we include Ju'wuan, as we should) will depart en masse.

That being said, I will be sweating out each and every one of these games and hoping, against hope, that we win every one of them.

Fighting for middle of the pack standings, a new Tennessee standard!

Op, I hope somebody had an arrant wipe after a #2 and shook your hand today..

How the hell does winless in the conference qualify for "fighting for middle of the pack standings?"

After the reelection of Obama i'm used to letdowns by now.. I say sign him to a extension also while they're at it..

Obviously there were enough morons in the U.S to re elect a President that has done nothing but put our country in a worse situation than it was when he took office. After watching this happen, Dooley staying another year wouldn't surprise me. Obviously results aren't required to keep a job anymore in America.

Hart is already "looking" for a replacement IMO. Also, who wouldn't you consider "a better coach"?
