im not going to claim to be an expert on either candidate. I just know wamp is a chattanooga boy and haslam is knoxvilles man. I dont know the politics im doubt there is a huge difference between the two politically. But that isnt what swayed my decision. The incessant stupid ads by haslam have. These ads are absolutely ridiculous and they all end with haslam sittin there with that @*** eatin grin on his face. These ads have turned me in favor of wamp. According to a recent poll out of nashville haslam had a large lead but over a third are still undecided. Who will you vote for and why?

Still deciding.
Posted via VolNation Mobilebut you're right those commercials remind me of old SNL skits with Dana Carvey doing G Bush 1.

Ron Ramsey is my guy, Wamp is a big spender. I am tired of the big spending regardless of party. I can't vote for Haslam he has yet to answer a question tonight. Ramsey is the only conservative in the race. Having said all this I believe Haslam will be the next Governor.

wamp is really going after haslam hard in the debate. Apparently haslam has refused to disclose his finances and he is still refusing. I agree that haslam is trying to buy this campaign and he just might do it. But hey what else is new. Wamp for governor

This thread is a waste of time.

We all know you will be writing in Phil Fulmer.

I wish Ramsey would drop out. He has no chance of winning and will only cannibalize votes from Wamp and help Haslam win.

I thought Ramsey was running ahead of Wamp?

At any rate I'm voting for Ramsey.

And I can't look at Haslam and that crooked smile of his without thinking to the exact same smile on the face of Rosary Joe Biden.

I am with you, I don't trust Haslam at all and I am scared Wamp will be a big spender. I do agree with Wamp on most other issues.

I am going to vote for Ramsey, if Wamp is not a big spender I could live with him as Governor.

Wamp and Ramsey are going to be doing a radio debate this morning from 9 -10:30, (I think I heard those times correctly) on 99.7 WTN in the Nashville area.

Ron Ramsey is an idiot who has absolutely no business whatsoever even being mentioned as governor. I especially enjoyed his answer that to help lower income families he wants to lower the Hall Income Tax. In addition, his answer to the question about the Med in Memphis was laughable.

IMO, the governor's main job is making Tennessee attractive to businesses to relocate here. I think Haslam would do the best job at that. He has done a good job as the mayor of Knoxville and I see no reason he could not do that as governor. I could handle Wamp winning, but I was disappointed in his performance last night.

I don't know where these polls are from as the only polls I have heard of are internal Haslam polls and a Ramussen (I think) poll that rated based on favorable or non-favorable.

Ramsey is the only conservative in the race. Haslam dodged every single question last night. As mentioned here before he is a lesser conservative version of Bob Corker. I could vote for Wamp if I had to but I will not vote for Haslam.

I believe the polls sited here were from WSMV in Nashville.

Please no, Wamp voted for TARP.

IIRC, he also voted for the McCain-Feingold so-called Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act.

I don't trust Wamp, he speaks as a conservative when he's running for office, but then he gets soft once the campaign is over.

I'm leaning toward Haslam because he seems to know how to run a business and what it takes to attract business to our state.

Wamp is a snake.

If you boted for the bail out time to get the hell out.

I like Ramsey too. And how is it being stupid calling it like it is. These endless programs that spend spend have got to go plain and simple.

I have no idea who haslam is to be frank one way or the other.

Yeah we need a true conservative who only wants to talk about his endorsement from the NRA and right to life. Thats all well and good but we need someone who has a little bit more to bring to the table in a tough economy. Ramsey needs to drop out because he has no chance. Ultimately haslam will probably buy the election
