WandaVision on Disney+

I could see that.

Despite the Hydra commercials, it never occurred to me that they might actually be the ones behind everything. I figured they were just fun things the writers/directors threw in. That’s a very interesting take.

I was thinking Wanda potentially created this world for herself. I’m not sure if she would be able to bend reality to that extent, but I thought it might be plausible. Everybody in town is either dead or trapped. Or they’re all figments of her imagination. In any case, I think S.W.O.R.D. are the good guys as well. But I’m not familiar with the comics or other Marvel-related tv series, so they could all be evil for all I know.

Isn't SWORD a offshoot/division of SHIELD in the comics?

Lost in translation because I never got into the comics enough to know anything about Wanda and Vision but in a good way it is a mystery I cant get enough off so far.

I binged all 4 episodes last night and had successfully avoided all spoilers.

I enjoyed the first episode but by the end of episode 2 the novelty had worn off on me and I was really hoping they would get to the point. Episode 3 got better and Episode 4 made it worth it. I still think they could have cut out episode 2 though. But I like how they have connected things and....

the return of some characters. I loved the little nods like Woo showing he finally learned the magic trick, tying in Captain Marvel, and the return of Darcy

loved Hendrix at the end.

This episode was great. I loved the opening in the hospital.

While Spider-Man showed the reverse snap in a humorous way, this showed how chaotic that event really would have gone down. Also the reaction the returned would have as they learned 5 years had passed.

Also, I’m not sure any villain is involved now. Could be Wanda has simply lost her mind.

Makes sense.

Did they say it was a 2 week jump from when Monica wakes up in the hospital to when she goes to SWORD? Then there is a montage of time passing while they observe what is happening on the Wanda show.

Seems like Spider-Man took place a few months after End Game?

Yeah it definitely seems like a good amount of time passed between Far From Home and Endgame. The question is how much time has elapsed between each episode? Is a new Wanda show episode released every day? Is each episode just the 30 minute episode everyday on a loop or should we assume more episodes take place constantly?

I'm all in on the internet calls for a Woo/Marcy X-Files type show for the MCU.

Ha! That would be a funny spin off. Especially since it’s completely new characters. Or rather, they don’t have comic counterparts last I checked.

Elizabeth Olsen is saying the show is going to have a “Luke Skywalker-like” appearance.

As much as I love MCU, they don’t have a character that would make that kind of impact at this point. I’m sure whatever they have planned will be exciting but so many factors were in play for Mandalorian’s finale that the MCU just can’t replicate that kind of surprise.

It's not Luke Skywalker-like, but it's a very interesting and highly unexpected appearance.

I think someone like Wolverine would.

That would definitely be exciting but still not like the bomb dropped of Luke. Fans are expecting X-Men to appear in the MCU soon anyway.

The Mando finale brought people to tears.
