WandaVision on Disney+

Anybody have theories on what the Yo-Magic commercial is supposed to symbolize?

Videos I've seen is that she was struggling to survive after the events of Endgame and then a predator (the shark) approaches her and convinces her that she needs to use her magic to survive. I'm not sure what the decaying represents. I'm guessing it's meant to imply that she Wanda has to use her magic to survive but maybe she is struggling with that decision.

That’s what I was thinking. I’ve seen some people reference Mephisto, but I don’t know enough about that character to understand where he fits into everything.

Mephisto is basically the Marvel I version of the Devil. He actually played a pretty big role is the saga of the twins in the comics.

The biggest question mark for me is who the shark is supposed to represent. I think we’ll find out pretty soon

Do you really think Disney would use Mephisto being that he is the Devil? I lean towards no. They did mention the word nightmare multiple times, which leads me to believe it's Nightmare. Of course, they've teased at least 5 different characters the entire series, so Marvel clearly enjoys throwing people off with red herrings.

But like everyone else, I am 99% sure that Quicksilver is not some alternate universe Quicksilver, but instead is the villain in disguise.

Agnes is quite clearly Agatha Harness though. Pretty much every episode proves that even more. The question is if she is good or evil maybe a little of both.

They did Dormamu in Dr.Strange so I don’t see why Mephisto would be off the table. Probably would tweak his origins as “the Devil” in much the same why they have made the Asgardians into aliens. He’ll be some multiversal pseudo-demon or some such.

Ok, I’m back in.
LOL
the sitcom thing is getting old IHMO
Only 2 episodes left. I think you’ll only get one more sitcoms genre and it going to be the single camera/interview style of the Offfice/Parks&Rec/Modern Family.

I’ve enjoyed the nostalgia.
Olson is fine.

Golden age of movie hot like grace kelly.

I like her better in this than her previous appearances in the movies.

She’s way better without the accent, imo.

I see no one mentioned the Malcolm in the Middle homage in the opening.

Pretty much the whole episode was a MitM homage. From the kids talking to camera and the family dysfunction.

One thing I have noticed is the sitcoms stopped using the 4:3 aspect ration once it became color. This show still should have been 4:3.

I think this is safe without spoiler tag since it’s a theory on the Webz. The commercials represent the infinity stones:

1. Toaster - mind stone as the logo is centered on the “face” like Vision.

2. Watch - time stone

3. Hydrasoak - cube is the Tesseract (space stone)

4. Paper towels - spill is the Aether (reality stone)

5. Yogurt - can’t be “opened” by the possessor (soul stone)

Man you might be onto something here. They definitely involve Wanda’s experiences, but it would be pretty brilliant writing to find a way to incorporate the stones too.

So we keep seeing on the previews that Wanda is trying to bring the Mind stone back. It's worth nothing that the mind stone in Vision's head remained completely intact when Vision exited the Hex. Maybe she successfully did that with the help of Mephisto (or whoever the villain is). It's worth nothing that Thanos didn't say he destroyed them, he simply says he reduced the stones to atoms. Perhaps Wanda's connection to the Mind stone combined with power being fed to her by Mephisto or Agatha Harness, has allowed her to regenerate the time stone.

Or maybe she has pulled the infinity stone from a different a universe, which has opened the multiverse?
