War in Ukraine

Either Trump is part of the establishment himself or he ran so we could see it all out in the open and for these people to continue to expose themselves.
I think Trump was just pizz pour at surrounding himself with people that could have pushed his agenda. He picked people with celebrity status or whatever. In retrospect, instead of him draining The Swamp, he invited The Swamp in his White House. Nikki Haley, Pompeo, Mattis, Bolton, Mnuchin, Kushner, Bill Barr... He made some horrible selections. I bet if you sat down Trump in private, I would hope that he would admit that was one of his biggest regrets.

Zelensky adviser concedes last east-Ukraine bastion could fall

Zelensky adviser Oleksiy Arestovych said Russian forces had finally crossed the Siverskiy Donets river and were approaching the city from the north.

"This is indeed a threat. We shall see. I do not rule out any one of a number of outcomes here. Things will become much more clear within a day or two," he said.

Arestovych said, however, that taking Lysychansk would complicate matters strategically for the Russians as they would have to focus on six major cities in the industrialized eastern Donbas region, spreading their forces more thinly.

Robbing the people of Scotland and Wales to help Ukraine. Again, how does this escalation and involvement in this conflict benefit the people of Europe or Main Street USA?

Scotland, Wales pan UK govt for 'diverting budget' to raise £1 bn military aid for Ukraine

Evans said this was a novel, worrying and potentially divisive approach by the Treasury – seeking to use devolved budgets. Evans noted the budget should be utilised for investment in devolved areas, like health and education, and added the fund reserved for development purposes should not be spent on areas such as military aid and defence.

So either you give us the money or we cut future funding...
Notably, last week, it provided £65 million as a part of UK’s military aid for Ukraine, apart from £4 million ($4.8 million) aid which was provided to fulfil the demands of health, water and sanitation and shelter for Ukrainian refugees. The crucial aid was announced after the Chief Secretary to the Treasury asked devolved authorities to either offer up a contribution or to take a reduction in the consequential provided as a part of the block grant from the UK Government.

Through sheer numerical superiority which will compensate for abject cowardice and utter incompetence, russia will be able to overcome the Ukrainian forces. Yay for russia?

Every destroyed russian tank, military plane, artillery piece, MLRS, etc makes the world a slightly better place. So, by that measure, the world is a much better place even if Ukraine loses territory in the eventual settlement.

So, for that, thank you Ukraine!

Although I agree with you, Ukraine has bad news for everyone. They are not going anywhere. They are fighting to exist. They have told you outright this will not end until borders are restored 2014.

I have vaxd three times. I'm about to vax a fourth. No third arm yet. No real perceptible change. The change came from staying inside. I got the covid right after I vax'd one time and was good to go. No symptoms: Iso'd for a week. Just vax. Nobody is going to hate you. Nobody is dying from vax.

Lol, you series ?

Nato will drag us into war with Russia. We don't need this. Not just pay for the war industrial complex
When? This has been going on since 2014.

I remember the line from the Kremlin was Putin was too smart to react to the bait. And yet here we are.

NATO hasnt done a single thing to drag us closer to the "special operation" than we were back in March.

So you are admitting what we have been saying since the very beginning. You would sacrifice Ukrainian lives in an effort to hit Russia. You are pretty disgusting. This could have been solved 8 years ago without any blood shed by the West simply minding their own business.

Also, the numerical superiority rant is not true in this case. The Russians and the Donbas militia and others accounted for roughly 200k soldiers, while the Ukrainians had roughly 250k NATO trained troops and another 200-250k other troops that were either conscripts, national guard or foreign mercenaries.

It could have also been solved by Russia not invading and occupying Ukraine … in 2014 Moe. But you always seem to leave that part out 🤡

Russian blast shattered my legs, but I'll do anything to get fit... and go back into battle: HARRIET LINE meets the brave mother-of-one, 33, who suffered horrifying injuries when an anti-tank mine blew up car bringing her back from Ukraine's frontline

When an anti-tank mine blew up the car bringing Corporal Yuliia Rymarenko back from Ukraine's frontline, she was sure she had lost her legs.

The mother-of-one's foot was hanging off and there was blood everywhere, but she remained calm: 'I was morally prepared for it – it is war and it can happen.'

She is lucky to be alive – and even more so to still have her legs.

'At best, the recovery from my injuries will take four to six months,' Yuliia tells the Daily Mail from her hospital bed in Dnipro.

'After that, I will return to my unit. But I hope that by that time, we will have won the war.'

'There are no good Russians,' she concludes. 'They are not humansThey are animals. They received no orders to torture people or to loot – they do it at their own initiative. Actually, animals are better than them.'

Well, also maybe if russia hadn't once again, as is their cowardly practice, invaded a smaller nation in a naked attempt to grab land. Perhaps that little action has had something to do with the bloodshed as well??

You are a russian shill. Nothing more.

‘Putin is seeing spies everywhere’: Top Russian scientist Dies two days after being pulled out of Cancer bed and Jailed for ‘treason’ as family claims he was ‘Tortured’ by Security Service

One of Russia's leading scientists has died less than two days after he was dragged out of a cancer bed and locked up on charges of high treason.

Dr Dmitry Kolker, 54, was flown across Russia from Novosibirsk, where he taught quantum physics and maths, to Moscow's notorious Lefortovo Prison on Friday.

After 48 hours, the leading laser scientist died, his family announced today.

He was under the watch of state security service the FSB, once led by Vladimir Putin.

Kolker, who suffered stage 4 pancreatic cancer and was too ill for chemotherapy, is cared for by his mother. The FSB claims it had medical authorisation to detain the world-leading scientist

Dr Kolker's family accused the FSB of 'torture' and abusing the doctor's human rights by pulling him out of his death bed. He had stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

The FSB claimed it had medical authorisation to unplug him from his hospital drip and lock him up as part of a major spy probe.

The scientist was accused of leading a pro-China spy ring alongside Professor Anatoly Maslov, 75, a hypersonic technologies teacher.

Maslov remains in Lefortovo, which became famous during Stalin's Great Purge of political opponents, businessmen and scientists.
