Russia never wins wars quickly. They grind their opponents down slowly with overwhelming numbers and resources. Rapid victories require logistical prowess and tactical agility which have never been focuses in Tussian/Soviet history.

In this case, Russia is fighting a proxy war v. The US and the west.

Russia will lose... badly.

Putin dirt nap soon.

We ALL have dirt maps coming. But true, Angel of Death is currently fluffing Vlads pillow 😉
As to Tsars in general, between trying to toss out the Golden Horde and to defeat the continuous rebellions on the Boyar class, ancient Musskovy had no alternative to having a strongly autocratic leader if they were to survive as a state. Of course, by 1917, after 300 years of Romanov rule, it was clearly time for reform. But murdering your Emperor was bad enough. Butchering his wife, five children, and every Grand Duke and Duchess they could get their hands on was a heinous crime that set the stage for the century of unending bloodshed that followed (and still continues in the steepes of Ukraine. Violence becomes an acceptable tool of the state

The plot line for the new Game of Thrones?

So if the Europeans admit Ukraine in the EU then it’s on them to rebuild their trading partner not us. Yeah we both know they will press us to kick into the pot and if they grease the right hands they’ll likely succeed.

This isn’t Japan in WWII we don’t have to pay to beat them AND rebuild them. Rebuilding is absolutely a European issue.
That’s the only point in your last umpteen posts in this thread I would argue. Rebuilding Ukraine SHOULD be shouldered more by Europe than the US but I expect it will actually happen the other way ‘round.

Oh I expect them to try and push us into it. If we had an executive in the oval with a backbone we should tell them to pound sand. We got them that far now Europe can finish the job since it’s their economic group. So yeah we know there will be no backbone thus it will likely end up as you’re saying.

How can you extract the good “business deals” if you’re not there for the rebuild?

Russia will lose, Ukraine will lose. The US will lose. This war was just a stupid excercise in fultility. The one country that WILL win however is China unfortunately. Nothing better than estranging your two primary opponents from one another, decimating the military of the opponent that you share a massive border with, and driving that opponent into your obligation.
A classic masterpiece of war and diplomacy by the CCP

Well, you can rest your troubled soul with regards to that. Russia will be paying for the rebuild.

Russia is getting a major smackdown.

Putin will get tossed, and hopefully a decent leader will come forth who'll be more reasonable.

If so the sanctions will go, and the world will be right as rain again.
More likely, the war drifts into a long standing zone of ongoing unrest and Guerilla warfare that makes the region uninhabitable and a breeding ground/haven for terrorists from both sides for the better part of the next decade. Whoever takes Putin’s place will be unable to wrap up a peace settlement because the Russian nationalists will not allow the country to lose face. The Russian mob will make out like bandits running arms to both sides and will make sure to prolong the misery to pad their pockets tobte Max. There are not many good ways this can end clearly and quickly even with a change at the very top. Starting a war is easy. Ending it is a b**ch.

I hope we learn some lessons about what happens when a country allows themselves to become dependent on a rival.

That's why a person looking for a job writes a resume, and maybe even a cover letter, and maybe even goes so far as to explain those things in an interview.
Did I say anything about NOT doing this things you mentioned above?

You really lack reading comprehension skills and simply aren't very bright.
