Not a bad comeback, but in all fairness Israel has dealt with attacks from these countries for decades. Russia hasn't had multiple Ukrainian attacks on its soil over the decades. Israel is small and surrounded by enemies. They'll always nip it in the bud if they can.

You forget we made alliances with other European nations during our revolutionary war.

Ukraine wins if they fight. They lose everything if they roll over but this is exactly what you advocate for. Pretending you know what their best interest is better than they do. I don't care if Russia is humiliated or not. I simply don't care. But I do care if they invade other nations.

An unpopular Russian puppet was overthrown. It was the will of the people, had it not been they would have cozied back up to Russia when they had the next election. They did not. I'm sorry but Donbas didn't get to throw a hissy and take up arms without meeting force in return. Don't like it, there's the next election or they can go to Russia. There's always choices.

There is no immediate reason for us to be involved in or benefit from inserting ourselves in a Ukraine/ Russia border dispute. If the goal was to get Russia into a quagmire and bleed them militarily and economically, you have to see by now that has failed.

No the Ukrainians fight because they want to. Ukraine can win this by breaking Russian resolve and bleeding them dry as you put it. Make it firstly enough for Russia and they quit. Ukraine was invaded, it's funny how you forge a nations resolve when you attack and kill their people.

It seems to me you want Ukrainians to concede because it's convenient to your narrative. But consider you may be wrong.

The US isn't begging Ukraine to take up arms, Ukraine is begging the west for arms, the means to defend themselves from an INVADING force. If you can't see that we can't have an honest discussion because the foundation of your stance isn't built on the reality of the situation.

I'm really wondering just how many Ukrainians or what percentage of the country actually wants this to continue. There are several reports of military aged men heading to Poland or Russia to avoid the conscription. It's likely the main ones fighting are the hardcore "nationalists", for lack of a better term... not the average Ukrainian.

I don't think Ike had a fond appreciation for the Dulles brothers by the end of his term. They caused a bunch of trouble and planted ti seeds for what we have going on today. It was the State Department and CIA NGOs that helped in creating chaos in Egypt, Libya, Syria, Iraq and Ukraine during the Obama administration.

You're correct. But that doesn't mean that you get to discount the shelling that the Kyiv regime applied to the people of Donbas. No different than what the US did with the the Americans living in Santa Ana's Texas.

Even if that is true, that still will not change the outcome. So why prolong this and put those young lives at risk while other NATO nations hide behind their skirts? The hubris of NATO will be the blame for this when the history books are written in 3-5 years. Hell, at the moment, not many countries outside of Western Europe, Japan or the Anglosphere (US, NZ, Canada and Australia) are buying the NATO narrative.

Where did I say that Russians were not dying? I'm saying that it isn't anywhere near the levels that you all are being lead to believe by the media.

Also, with regards to my thinking that Russia would not do anything... go back to my reasoning as to why I said that in the weeks leading up to it, genius. 3elensky was the main one downplaying the situation. I knew for a fact I couldn't trust what the Biden administration was saying, but I had no idea that 3elensky and the Ukrainians were just as inept or mendacious. Plus, we had 8 years of the Russians showing patience and not doing anything in Donbas inspite of the shelling. So if you want to clown me on making a prediction based on 8 years of prior history and based on 3elensky's comments, so be it.

First off, I do not get my azz handed to me in this thread because in the end, the truth reveals itself and all of you cockroaches scramble and change the narrative whenever the situation on the ground shows that Ghist if Kyiv, Snake Island etc is false.
