Stop deflecting, OBL played a major part in 9/11 and he was being protected by the Taliban inside Afghanistan.

Yes, I do think we should have crushed SA economically in retaliation because their state religion is a major exporter of terrorism.

Deflecting? By stating facts that none of the hijackers came from Afghanistan? Really? Saudi Arabia should have been first on the list to bomb... not Afghanistan or Iraq.

Yes, Truman didn't have the backbone to stand up to Stalin or Mao. JFK approved the Bay of Pigs operation, JFK approved 3 or 4 more operations to assassinate Castro and he is the major reason we have had such a stupid Cuba policy for 60+ years. It was also JFK that ramped up our "advisors" in Vietnam during the early 60s.

What was Truman supposed to do to "stand up" to Stalin and Mao?

JFK inherrited the Bay of Pigs from the Eisenhower administration. He wasn't fully onboard with it from the beginning.

Interesting that you blame JFK for flawed Cuba policy when there 11 other presidents after his brief 3 year term that could have stopped it. Also keep in mind, that JFK was already sour on Diem, and then he was assassinated a few weeks before Kennedy was. It is likely that Kennedy would have tried to pull out advisors after the 1964 election/1965.

Truman could have prevented the partitioning of Korea, Stalin nor Mao was in any position at the end of WWII to do a damn thing. Hell Truman argued with MacArthur when MacArthur forbade Soviet forces to enter Japan territory. Truman was going to allow the partitioning of Japan had it not been for Mac. JFK and McNamara were itching to get into the fight in Vietnam, we if not actively participated in we (JFK) supported the removal of Diem. He wasn't going to pull out, they wanted in deeper but Diem was holding his own against the Cong and didn't want increased US involvement.

It's expansion because of expansion and a NATO/Russia war being supplied by the US. Ukraine is a corrupt laundromat for US politicians which is why you're being told to care and support the action

Then Europe needs to check it then. No need for the US to worry about it. Let them deal with their own neighborhood.
Meanwhile, we have an invasion happening on our own border. How about we deal with that first?
