War in Ukraine

I think Kharkiv will eventually be taken, if they want it (which I assume they do). I wouldn't say they had it a couple of months ago. They had a light presence outside the city that fell back to more defendable positions when Ukraine wanted to make a show of force for social media purposes. As I said at the time, there was no strategic purpose to this by Ukraine...you said they were trying to cut Russia's supply lines which I rightly laughed at. Shocker, they were never able to severe those lines. Now, as Russia has increased their forces around Kharkiv, they are back to surrounding the city and bombarding it on the daily.
Of course you wouldn’t say they had it since they had their asses ran out of town. And what I said on Kharkiv was it would be a nice area to stage strikes into the Belgorod area. How’d that work out Larry? As far as supply lines that was in the southern areas which would hurt their ability to resupply Kherson. But hey that’s working out great with those ferries they are way more efficient that those bombed out bridges amirite?

Watching you “misremember” your prior dumbassery is hilarious Larry 😂🤡

They saw the himars rockets were going straight through the bridge, so they waited until Russian ammo trucks were crossing and hit those instead. Brilliant.

Vietnam isn't really comparable to Ukraine. North Vietnamese were pretty battle hardened after roughly 20 years of fighting before we went in. They also knew how to use the jungle to their advantage.

Mhhmmmm.

And based on your silence to the question about your military experience and training to make such estimates about casualties, you admit that you're really just pulling crap right out of your butt. No experience. No knowledge. No quoting legitimate sources.

All you got is just your *feelz*.

As I said, nobody can take you seriously bro.

The encirclement was spot on. This was back when they took Severodonetsk/Lysychansk. New encirclements are being created. This is what they do.

I admit, Ukraine hasnt collapsed as fast as I thought they would but I also thought Russia would pick up the tempo. It seems they are happy to slowly de-militarize Ukraine in retaking the Donbas and doing so at a high casualty rate for Ukraine. No telling what Zelensky is threatening these lowly trained recruits with to stay out there and fight under those conditions.
Raising the enlistment age, and offering prisoners freedom seems to be working well for them.

Oh wait its Russia doing that.

The encirclement did not at all play out like you predicted. Ukraine was able to get most of its forces out, because of how slow Russia is going. This is why I keep saying Russias slowness is increasing the damage done, and lives lost. Captured Ukrainians would be out of the fight. But we arent seeing huge encirclement grabbing up 10k+ prisoners.

If this is really trench warfare I would expect the prisoner losses of Ukraine to be the similiar as their dead/wounded. Which would take your claim over 200k Ukrainians out of the fight, which would be 40% of their total. Clearly we arent seeing that.

They got some out, but waited way too late and took far more casualties than they needed to.

You want to try and attack credentials, because you can't attack the reasoning I gave. Why wouldn't, in the setup for the last few months, you expect high numbers of casualties for Ukraine? Why wouldn't you expect casualties ratio's to heavily favor Russia in this setup?

Are you aware that falling back to a more defendable position is called a retreat?

You appear to get all your news from Twitter. What a life you must lead...
That's what twitter does. President Trump made most of his announcements and got his view of the news out on twitter if I remember correctly. He used it nearly every day.
