Sure. They have huge stockpiles that they havent used in almost 70 years. Russia needs help to arm their Soviet era equipment they've been forced to use since they been getting dusted by old Western tech.

You forget Comrade, the US military is that lean fighting force that Russia thought they could be by watching Navy Seals (Starring Charlie Sheen) over and over.

I passed out slept in the car while my platoon went out to a donkey show. I failed to pace myself on the .50 Corona's. I was over served.

Where they the baby sized Coronas? I was at a club in Acuna that had 3 levels and a firemans pole from the top to the bottom. I deftly fell all the way down that. Thank god I was 19 and extremely drunk so I just brushed it off and went outside and puked.

Yes we used them when no one else had them. And stopped before anyone else had them. And we havent threatened anyone with them since. Well I am sure there is some bs from the Cold War I dont know about. But in all the invasions we have participated in, we havent threatened nukes.

Invasions are bad. If you go to the Syria thread I say we should stay out, and I have been against our military being involved. Our boys shouldnt be there, the US shouldnt be there, I am consistent. But again this is the thread about Russia invading Ukraine. Just like we shouldnt be in Syria, Russia shouldnt be in Ukraine. Can you say the same as a stand alone statement?

My understanding is that Yemen is undergoing a multi sided civil war, with no central government left, and that the Saudis are backing their favorite. We probably arent providing weapons because which side would we help? It's a lot more complicated than Yemen vs the Sauds. Again I have never called for US involvement over there, I wouldnt mind selling weapons but that's it. Can you apply your same standard?

Afghanistan I said since I joined this forum we should be out of. Heck we were being dumb over there for 20 years, surely that means we are 2/3 as justified as Russia?

Name any conflict and I have said we shouldnt be there. And I have said as much in those threads. But this thread is about Russia invading Ukraine. And I stand by the fact that Russia never should have been involved in Ukrainian affairs or territory. The only support I have ever thought we should give Ukraine is to SELL them weapons. Well I dont mind training them during peace time either.

Can you be consistent?

According to the source, funding for a range of “unprotected budget items” will be cut, while pension payments, public sector wages, and healthcare will remain stable. Meanwhile, defense spending is slated to increase as military salaries are adjusted for inflation.
