Agreed. Europe has a huge share of blame in this for not seeing what everyone else saw. That Putin was going to use it hold them over a barrel.Who wakes up one day and says “you know what? Pootin seems like a trust worthy guy let’s make ourselves totally reliant on him for our country’s energy needs”?![]()
They were leading the way in stopping the Ukrainians from negotiating a deal back in April and have been one of the most hardcore with regards to Russian sanctions. Lastly, the British have nearly 200 years of history behind them where they have gone against Russia for various reasons.
I put the UK at the top of the list ahead of the US. I don't think even the US would be that provocative because all fingers would look at either them or Russia.
That can be difficult to pick. A known liar is an easy one to stay away from. I like several news outlets but I will stay away from proven liar "reporters." I don't understand why some of you struggle with this. By continually following a known liar, as a individual contributor, you just show you really don't give a **** what any source says as long as you agree with it.What would be an appropriate source in this situation?
I think the US & UK will definitely go this route, but I think the US will allow the UK to be their proxy when it comes down to that decision. Liz Truss (or Boris Johnson for that matter) dumb enough to follow American orders to do so. That would have fed into Johnson's ego to be the next Churchill and this now feeds into Truss' ego to be the next Thatcher. Meanwhile, the US would have plausible deniability at the end of the day.I'm just waiting on the dirty bomb attack at this point, we're so far past the point of no return... not sure what else they can do but just keep going.
