War in Ukraine

We all have to remember that all of these agreements and treaties are authored by lawyers. They spend years being trained how to strangle words into something that can mean a 1000 different things and nothing all at the same time.

Exhibit A in other thread.

With Putin's annexation of Ukraine territory. One would think that any advancement it the newly annexed territory would be a provocation of War and Putin may try to use this as a reason for using Battlefield Tactical Nuclear Weapons fired from Artillery. This is just a thought but something to be aware of in the future.
Someone else has picked up the Russian propaganda.

Maybe we can do this with Canada. We'll just sign a declaration that they belong to us and if anyone doesn't like it, we'll just nuke their asses.

I would say kind of similar to how the United States handled the Cuban Crisis, in part.

At the end of the day I don't really see any difference between various tactical low yield nuclear weapons and conventional, bigger bang. Once one gets into high yield of course there are some bigger differences, imo.

This is why member of the U.S. Congress was warning about NATO expansion back even in the 90s i.e. tactical nuclear warfare.

You would think people would want to de-escalate but it looks like the Ukraine has been selected for destruction by the major parties.

Then we'd have to pay for their national healthcare, and leftists here would demand we do the same for the US. Some things are just best left alone.

So you don't see anything wrong with radiation poisoning vs just being blown to bits

Daughter of Aleksandr Dugin, who's political views have inspired Putin and has been an author on Russia's Ukraine policy. He was supposed to be the target but at the last moment switched cars and his daughter got in the car that had the bomb.

Aleksandr Dugin - Wikipedia

He's daughter was also as evil as he is.

Whether you believe the Ukraine is needed for food is irrelevant, the major players have determined it to be expendable. The only real use at this point is to be blown up.

Its not about you or what you think or want, they don't care.

It's clearly not about what Putin wants. He wanted a parade through the middle of Kyiv shortly after the invasion.

Not really but with low yield there is almost no radiation which is why troops can go in right after use. Matter of fact, that has been discussed in the last few decades whether low yield nukes could even be detected. It does depend on how its configured, another type of tactical is high radiation and low blast usage. Kill people but very little to no damage.

Generally speaking, its just another type of weapon. If people are really worried about radiation they should be worried about those nuclear power plants and all those depleted uranium shells.

If people are seriously worried about any of this... it would seem like de-escalation would be a wiser strategy.
