War in Ukraine

So the Ukraine conflict, as you appear to be admitting, provides cover for waste, fraud and abuse by Dems?

Am I reading this correctly?

No, but I'm as anti-dem as it gets. I just happen to agree that we should help sovereign nations when a bully invades to take their land. As far as the waste, fraud, and abuse of funding, have the dems ever done anything different? If you look back at one of the big "Ukrainian funding" bills, it was absolutely littered with funding that never in anybody's wildest dreams went to Ukraine or even NATO. It was for more empire building and bureaucracy enlargement right here in the US - not for weaponry, delivery, or even development.

Of the 3 countries, which one has the most military bases scattered all over the globe? Which of the 3 has regime changed dozens of countries since WWII (and before that in Latin America)? Which one uses its military to prop up the value of its currency?

I certainly hope you know the answer to that ... and more importantly why.

So instead of Russia raping them, it's The Yanks? Keep in mind that even throughout this entire ordeal, those evil Ruskies have gone out of their way to still provide gas to Europe.

The global commodities market sets the price. You disagree with foreign aid. So should our government pay the commodity price and sell at a loss so that Europe has cheap fuel? Europeans got stupid, put their eggs in one basket, caved to the greenies, and shut down a lot of electrical generation that wasn't "kosher" ... they deserve to pay market price for their stupidity. I haven't seen any concerted effort from any country to clean up OPEC or commodities trading - probably because politicians everywhere make a killing in "honest investments".

Ukraine has been winning the propaganda war from day one. The amount of NAFO troll bots on Twitter is impressive. Russia seems to have largely ignored it and focused in at the task at hand.

Well, still fighting 243 days into a 3 day excursion doesn't seem a lot like propaganda. You can get that part without any news organization's input ... just count the days. A lot of the pictures seem to tell a lot of stories without "expert analysis". True that dem news sources got pretty good at snipping segments to show people quoting stuff they never said, so perhaps you can't even believe what you see. But damn; they are still fighting 243 days later, the lines appear to be moving back toward the original boundaries before Russia invaded, and nobody seems to be arguing that Russia invaded Ukraine. If that's Russia winning, I can't imagine what losing would look like.

I see all kinds of irony. Every country in that region has a timeline and a claim on pieces of Ukraine. That's why we shouldn't be involved in these regional conflicts in Europe. Thanks for pointing out the madness of all of this.

The only madness was Pootin thinking he could put the band back together.

He thought wrong and exposed his nation as vodka swilling lunatics whose bark is clearly much worse than its bite.

The same people telling me I am wrong insisted Russia wasn't going to invade also said things were going as planned for Russia. And they wonder why they are mocked. It's silly.

Did you miss the referenda from a month ago? Did you not see Walter Cronkite or Huntley & Brinkley report it?

Nope, but I have seen Cronkite lie to our faces, so lying from beyond the grave might not be a stretch. I do believe your generation would fall for it hook, line, and sinker though.

They are Pakistan. That's what the world learned. All they have is nukes. The rest is trash.

Is it more or less ironic than you calling the Ukrainians "terrorists" for bombing a bridge that was being used by the RF to move troops and equipment while being completely silent on Russia shelling and bombing civilian neighborhoods, schools, electric plants and hospitals?

You know, I come back to this post right here and I have come to realize that you have some have so.e very distorted and bigoted views about Russians. You really need to reprogram from the Cold War era, because this tone right here shows that you are dehumanizing them and don't have any respect for their security issues or grievances when their concerns are just as valid as the US's or Israel's. You likely feel the same about the Chinese as you feel about the Russians. I have my biases with regards to the head chopping KSA I suppose, but at the same time, I can be somewhat understanding of their position when dealing with certain issues. You seem to not give Russia or China any benefit of doubt, but seem to create every excuse in the book when the US does the same.

Of course, I feel the same way about China. A country in good shape with a productive population doesn't fall for communism - and nobody else dehumanized those two societies. Communism is only sold to backwards countries with failing economies and people with no future. Besides all you have to do is read a little history to see that Russia (and China) were so far out of touch with the advance of civilization they both had to look to advanced countries (like Europe and the US) to get out of the dark ages. As far as the sandbox goes; all I can say is Islam, Islam, Islam and backwards, backwards, backwards. If that makes me a bigot, then so be it; we need to call things what they are.

Is your definition of troll, "those who humiliate me using facts, objectivity and reasoned thought?"

It would make the thread more interesting if you guys would provide facts and reasoned thought. Instead we get fake bs about Russians using old rifles, no cold weather gear, dirty bombs, etc and reasoned thought along the lines of constant 3 Stooges references, calling Russians orcs, etc.

What does the number of days have to do with my post regarding Ukrainian propaganda?

No one said they used a dirty bomb. I have said they have publicly expressed concern that Ukraine will. And then explained why that's the dumbest thing ever uttered and how we all know, unless you are a moron, why they are expressing this concern. You deny they have worried about it. Makes you a clown

I can honestly say I’ve gotten dumber from reading the stupidity you post on this Nazi crap that’s for sure. We all have. So I’ll just wave off on any further of your Nazi stupidity. Ok that’s not completely true. I’ll at least mock it.

You know Himmler managed to form at least one SS division with Ukrainians (and mostly hide it from Hitler), and Germany is in NATO, so it's surprising there haven't been reports that NATO is responsible for Ukrainian Nazis.

Continually posts straight up Russian propaganda and lies.

Feigns shock and disappointment when just mocked for posting straight up Russian propaganda and lies.

🤡

I have to admit I thought it was a bluff and didn't actually think Russia would be stupid enough to invade. That's not a way to win friends, and they haven't definitely impressed enemies in a positive way either. I gave Russia far more credit than it deserved; it's obviously still a resource rich but overwhelmingly backwards country dominated by the few who exploit the masses.

Ukraine is not a sovereign nation, first of all. Hasn't been since 2014.

No, we should be more concerned about our own needs and supply and worry ourselves far less about WTF Europe needs.

Are you seriously asking this silly azz question right now?
