Yeah but it’s somewhat useful junk. The problem with blowing up non useful junk is it’s literally garbage in orbit. I believe we ceased ASAT life fire shots until late 2000’s. At that time we had a spy satellite break down. So we scheduled another “test” this time using SM-3 I believe to get rid of a floating security risk.
