So we're back to tribal witchcraft as the historical basis for nations. This is gonna be some fun stuff. Do the Romans get to play? Arawaks, Caribs, Cherokee, Mayans, Aztecs, Mongols, Huns ...? You could just slice and dice and pick any time period for who should own what.

I've actually done a pretty detailed historical study of what is now known as Ukraine recently. That territory has not only changed hands so many times but had even it's own internal conflicts for centuries. And now the country is being used to prop up a puppet regime for the West.

Russia was wrong in the scenario Ukraine was wrong, but if Russia hadn't been sponsoring the rebels and encouraging their attacks this likely never happens does it?

Why put a qualifier on it? Why meddle in affairs of any country? Had Russia not meddled in Ukrainian affairs they would likely be much more friendly with Russia.

ISIS started in Iraq then made their way to Syria, Libya, Egypt, etc. Some, or even many, former members of the Iraqi military and prisoners the U.S. and its allies held in the prisons in Iraq eventually joined ISIS. They even used equipment we left behind. This should be common sense knowledge.

They eventually attacked religious minorities in the area such as Christians, Druze, Mandeans, and Yazidis. They were not too fond of Alawites either which is the religion the Assad family belongs to as well 10 to 15 percent of Syrians.

Blaming ISIS on Syria or Russia is simply a conspiracy theory.

Russia’s Wagner Group Says Sending Blood-Stained Sledgehammer to EU Parliament


The Kremlin-linked leader of the notorious Wagner mercenary group said Wednesday that he sent a sledgehammer to be delivered to the European Parliament in a dark reminder of one fighter’s gruesome killing.
Yevgeny Prigozhin’s threatening gesture came as the EU Parliament prepared to condemn Wagner in a non-binding resolution after branding Russia a “state sponsor of terrorism.”
Prigozhin’s Concord firm said he had discussed the anticipated EU Parliament vote with Wagner commanders and decided to respond with what he described as a “case of information.”
Video emerged later Wednesday showing a Prigozhin associate brandishing a violin case containing a sledgehammer with the inscription “PMC Wagner” on its head and artificial blood stains on its handle.

The weapon is a nod to another video that appeared this month in which a self-described Wagner deserter was bludgeoned to death with a sledgehammer after being recaptured.
Prigozhin initially praised the fighter’s apparent killing but later denied Wagner’s involvement, instead blaming U.S. secret services without providing evidence.
The sledgehammer was given to a pro-war military blogging outfit that Russian media previously linked to Prigozhin’s so-called “troll farm.”

Things weren’t going fine between them. Russia was interfering in internal Ukrainian matters which led to the ouster of the Ukrainian president.
