Russia can hardly make headway against bum Ukraine but if we stop treating Ukraine like our sugar baby then Russia will storm across Europe like the wehrmact in 1940.

I agree to this end. But I don't think that's what this is about from the US perspective. I think we are thinking longer out, say 10 years or so. We know a confrontation with China is coming. I think from the US perspective this is about weakening Russia now so China has a less effective partner 10 years from now.

That is my long game theory. In the meantime it throws water on the smoke Russia has been fanning in the region for the last 15 years.

As long as the West continues to send arms, the war will drag on. So by sending more arms, we are only delaying the inevitable and not changing the outcome. Plus, we are dragging ourselves and the Europeans down in the process.

The average person that supports this conflict is virtue signaling and the real people in DC, London and Brussels are trying to achieve some failed and flawed geostrategic objective.

And if we don't large amounts of innocent people will be killed or sent to camps as the reprisal for standing against Putin.
