War in Ukraine

No one ever said they were corrupt. Probably on the black market somewhere
You can't have it both ways. You can't say that the weapons are being used for testing/R&D and at the same time admit that most of these weapons are on the black market. Or ignore the possibility that the majority of the weapons have been destroyed in battle.

No no no. You asked about the weapons in prior years. The new experimental weapons are just now being sent over. Who knows if they’ve been destroyed? We don’t.

You can't be more wrong. And GDP growth is masking inflation.
Pretty sure that statement is correct. 4/5 recession criteria has been met. The 1 that hasn’t has been met is, 2 consecutive quarters of negative %. Which we haven’t, so if you look at what’s on the up is military complex.

The corrupt people running Ukraine in DC are the same ones that run elections here at home. Voting harder isn't the answer.
I understand. Need term limits on everything and a counsel that watches over politicians like a hawk.

Edit for this. We need to fix our broken system that is the politicians. What would you like seen done?

WTF happened to all of the weapons we gave them over the 8 years prior?

From 2014-2021, the US gave Ukraine a total of ~$2.7 billion in military aid; which was limited to nonlethal assistance until 2017, when we finally started giving them Javelins and other anti-tank weapons.

So they pretty much were given nothing until after Russia escalated the 8-year old invasion in 2022.

Lol...2nd-best military in the world, looking for "North Korean Spetsnaz" for help in trying to defeat Ukraine.

Russia has truly redefined the concept of "winning".

Kim is not going to let that many people leave the country. They will never come back. Those not killed will defect.

The Russians are not being kept down nor stopped from advancing.

And how is it a win for Ukraine when their country is being bombed and they are losing men just for the US to test weapons and maintain a Cold War ideology?

It's still their country at the end, and Ukraine isn't occupied by another country? Of course, you don't believe your beloved Russia can lose. Would you rather live in freedom in a country wrecked by war, or be occupied by a totalitarian force?

Unless I'm missing something, it looks like Russia is in the process of losing the second 100K troops than they did the first 100K. For several days the troop losses have been over 600/day - impressive.

I think at this point it is unavoidable. I don't see the political will for anyone in Washington to change the status quo. 2016 was simply a way of buying more time. But I don't think Biden or DeSantis or Trump or anyone else is going to be able to fix this mess. It would require a drastic change in our economic philosophy and foreign policy and a return to the Constitution.

That's the reality that the people of Donbas and other areas had to deal with under the Kyiv regime since they overthrew the democratically elected president in February 2014. Not just Russians, but Hungarians in the west of Ukraine, Romas, Greeks, and other Unradicalized Ukrainians. Now they are going after the orthodox church.

Why are you happy about the loss of life when this could have/should have been resolved had The West/US kept their end of the bargain in 1991? Now Russians, Ukrainians and other foreigners are being sacrificed needlessly.

BTW, do you really believe these numbers? Seriously?
