War in Ukraine

War Crimes Watch: Russia's onslaught on Ukrainian hospitals

Putin has followed some key elements of the Hitler Playbook, following an invasion with the intent of long-term occupation :
  • Bomb Schools
  • Bomb Hospitals/Clinics
  • Bomb Churches/Synagogues
  • Bomb Civic Centers/Municipalities
  • Seize Control of Plants and Factories; Arrest Managers, Foremen, Scientists, and Engineers
  • Loot Art Museums

Dmitry Medvedev

The G7 foreign ministers called on Russia to reaffirm the inadmissibility of nuclear war. And this strange creature Blinken issued a pearl that the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki is evidence of immeasurable human suffering. At the same time, he did not mention his country, which committed this crime.

Here are the lying creatures. They use nuclear weapons, but do not repent. They are endlessly hypocritical and lie to their own and others, but they say that our country is spreading “false information” about Ukraine. They demand that Russia give them some kind of guarantees about nuclear weapons, but in fact they are hinting at a future nuclear conflict between our country and NATO.

And it all takes place in Japan. Where hundreds of thousands died from nuclear bombing. A country whose leadership essentially spits on the graves of their compatriots killed by the Americans.

What a disgrace!

Sometimes it's hard to understand you with Putins **** in your mouth.

Who wants to walk away from nuclear reduction treaties?

Seems to me everyone one is clear on the historical use and legacy of nuclear weapons.......... Almost everyone is on board.......... except for a few that is.

America has nothing to apologize for in Japan. You might say Medvedev is just trolling (LOL). We hear the same kind of **** from you day in and day out.

Nice choice of words. The US lead them down a road and convinced them to provoke Russia into a conflict and we told them that we would have their back. Then, when it became clear after last fall's offensives that this war was out of their control, they've started to gaslight them with promises of weapons deliveries in 2025 and beyond... because the West doesn't have the capabilities of keeping up with the demands of fighting a real war.
neither does Russia. They are digging out 1960s tanks.

Russia will come out of this much stronger. We are all but guaranteeing it by our actions. This isnt 1991. Live in the present.
I am curious why not?

They are tied up in an expensive war against a NATO backed nation with no real end in sight.
They aren't trading with the West again, China, NK, India, Cuba and most of the third world were already their playground in 1991.
They see NATO as an existential threat.
I don't see any way to argue Russia's manufacturing is any better off than Soviet manufacturing was.
You have several post-Soviet regions rebuking Moscow outside of NATO. Azerbaijan, Armernia, Kazahkstan.
you have some pretty large internal unrest: the protests that lead to mass arrests at the start of the war. Media speaking out and getting jailed. Hundreds of thousands fleeing the nation instead of fighting. Near constant sabotage/raids/attacks so far behind the lines it would be incredible if Ukraine was somehow pulling it off.

Its "peace through strength", but either way, that hasn't shown to work for the US.

If you really supported "strength through peace", you would understand why the Chinese and Russians are able to build coalitions against the West/NATO...
yes it has. ours, and the entire world's deaths from war have gone way down since the US became the top dog and started throwing their weight around. We reversed the trend that stemmed from industrialization and increased population. The only conflicts with significant loss of life have been the few that the US hasn't been directly involved in.

The Russian's have benefited from it as well. The Russians were averaging a war with the west every 30ish years, and one from the east approx. every 50 years. Since the US has taken over Russia has known no defensive war in almost 80 years.

What are you talking about? Taiwan and China are one country. That is official US policy. How can China invade itself?
the same way you think Ukraine invaded itself to "kill" all the ethnic Russians.

I honestly have no idea, so the answer could be yesterday, but when was the last time the One Nation Policy been officially supported. Which just begs the question, as a policy, not a law, bill, treaty or anything else, is there any need to formally support the policy?

idk maybe we are being selective like the Russians are. No NATO on our border. well except for the nations already there, or Finland.

Two doses of shock and awe needed to bring a war to an end; and end to a war that was lost by an enemy who saw surrender as unacceptable. The lives lost with those two weapons were far smaller than what would have been lost otherwise. Perspective and reality are lost on Ras; I've never seen anyone despise his own country so strongly. You'd think we've gone on to nuke other places every couple of years or so.

I'd guess that if Russia had not stolen plans and gone on to build nuclear weapons that we would have gotten out of the business ourselves. In the end you have to match weapons with the enemy or lose by bringing a knife to a gunfight.

Intel leaks: "Ukraine is losing badly"

Ukrainiancs: "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Russia can't even take a road in Bakhmut"

So pathetic.
where in the leaks does it say Ukraine is losing badly?

Casualties favor Ukraine 130k vs 180k. Combat effectiveness of 83% vs 63% for Russia. Still talks about the new divisions and the planned offensive. They talk about Bahkmut being ready to fall, but thats not exactly breaking news to anyone paying attention. It goes on to break down the build up for the Ukrainian offensive in the spring, and the preparations.

and before you attack the source, they include the leaked documents so you can see them for yourself.

Read the leaked secret intelligence documents on Ukraine and Vladimir Putin
