War in Ukraine

I'm not anti-war. I'm anti-stupidity. I believe in strength through peace. That's not going to happen with this clown show administration. The enemy smells estrogen and see bozos.
Its "peace through strength", but either way, that hasn't shown to work for the US.

If you really supported "strength through peace", you would understand why the Chinese and Russians are able to build coalitions against the West/NATO...

Womp womp... :p:p
So in other words, they can't find most of it. You can't give back what you can't find and never had. Idiots.

EU will return frozen Russian reserves – Welt

For example, the frozen reserves of the Russian central bank, which are believed to total €300 billion, are spread throughout Europe and deposited in numerous accounts, often with no direct link to Moscow, Die Welt explained, citing anonymous “insiders familiar with the EU's plans.”

As a result, Brussels has no clear idea of where exactly all that money is, the newspaper said.

Even if officials succeed in locating the funds, there will still be a huge question about whether the bloc can legally appropriate the money and use it as it sees fit.

According to the internal document seen by Die Welt, the European Commission came to the “sobering conclusion” that the frozen reserves “must not be touched because one day, when the war is over, they will have to be returned to Russia.”

I did actually get that backwards. My mistake.

When China makes its move against Taiwan we don't want to worry about Russia starting **** in Europe though and having to divert attention to another front. Taking Russia down a notch or two helps in the long term don't you agree?
What are you talking about? Taiwan and China are one country. That is official US policy. How can China invade itself?

That effort has been a complete failure. Not only have you and your side not destroyed the Russian economy with sanctions or de-militarized Russia, but in the process you guys have moved the rest of the world outside of the West closer together.

Without China Russia wouldn't be able to coordinate much more than a meth deal in the parking lot. China is able because they have no recent global track record outside of investments and have built/are building an army to challenge the west. The west has no intention nor stomach for war on that scale nor the population with a suitable mindset for it.

The rest of the world is hedging their bets as our current/recent leaders don't have a cohesive long term plan. Our MIC is more concerned with short term deals and money than long term vision for this country.

Failure is getting their asses run out of Kyiv all the way back to Russia. Failure is trying and and not succeeding to take one city since August 1. That's 8 1/2 months Volg. Failure is not being able to occupy territory you just annexed illegally. Most of all failure is fighting a three day operation for 14 months.

But. But. But. Russia might have added a completely destroyed street in Bakhmut at some point since August ... those gains are important. Three days at a time and a cloud of smoke and rubble.

Keep on talking... one street per month is more than the US/NATO trained Kyiv army could lie about gaining.

Is this what you call "winning"? Is this what you call "knocking Russia down a peg or two"?

Knocking Russia down a peg or two is easy. It's happening now. The special military op is going on over a year. It's a disaster for them. Lol.

Russia can’t secure a city the size of Jackson, TN. There was never any chance of taking Kiev.

In which Ras describes an article about the Boston bombing and its backstory as "sweet." For some reason it seemed appropriate to repost to this thread. Maybe it provides insight into the mindset that came up with the "everything in Ukraine is America's fault," philosophy.
It's really odd, his fascination and obsession with all things Russia is almost restraining order worthy.
