War in Ukraine

Looks like we are sending older M1A1's with 105mm. Should have a shitload of rounds that want affect our needed stock.

Same basic gun as the Leo I’s I think.

Just looked it up. The Leo 1's with 105mm are old. The Leo 2 uses the 120mm and it competed with the M1 during its development. Surely Ukraine isn't getting Leo 1..but alas M1A1 are just as old as the Leo 1A5. Regardless there should be millions of 105 rounds available from all NATO stock.

Where'd you see that?

Per Defense News:

"DoD, in close coordination with Ukraine, made the decision to buy the M1A1 variant which will enable us to significantly expedite delivery timelines, and deliver this important capability to Ukraine by the fall of this year,” said the Pentagon’s press secretary, Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder.

The U.S. will refurbish excess M1 hulls and ship them as the M1A1 SA variant, outfitting the 70-ton behemoths with 120mm cannons and 50-caliber machine guns. "

Heard it on the news. They said 105mm tank rounds. Somebody must of screwed up as it is clearly M1A1, which use 120
Must be 105mm rounds for those Strykers. Those aren't tanks..but to the media they are.

And again, this hits at the very point I have been trying to make to you people. Your enemies are not overseas. Your worst enemies are right here at home. The Chinese would not be able to have as much influence as they do if it were not for the traitors and sellouts right here at home. We outsourced our industrial and manufacturing capacity overseas to China at the expense of our own national security. And you in particular, have justified this shift in the name of screwing over workers here in America because they had the audacity to want, or maintain, their wages and standard of living. If you were intellectually honest and looking in the rear view mirror, we would have been far better off paying higher wages and keeping our domestic production vs outsourcing and having our pants hanging down dependent on China.

You Boomers hate American labor more than you hate the Chinese... or hate the traitors that outsourced our economy.

I would agree, we sold out ( intentionally or not) to make cheaper products. Now we a serious issue with our economy. The fed has married global Corporations and has put Americans' best interest last. If anyone complains, they're nationalists and isolationists.

They are getting Leo I’s and II’s and will need both 105 and 120 mm ammo

Funny thing is that I still don't understand how being a nationalist is a bad thing.

Storm Shadows really pack a punch. Appears most if not all have been able to breach Russian AA.

Guessing shaping operations will continue until the next new moon around June 19th.

Destruction of a Russian military base in Yur'ivka, near Mariupol, two days ago. Amusing commentary from a local complaining about the lack of air defence.

Maybe they need some "destroyed" Patriots to replace better S-400 and S-500 missiles, or maybe they don't have any of those either because they are busy protecting pootin's houses.

⚠️A militant wearing the insignia of Mexico’s notorious Gulf Cartel (Cartel Del Golfo, CDG) was filmed in the state of Tamaulipas carrying a US-made anti-tank missile launcher. #MilenioTV identified the weapon as a Javelin, thousands of which were sent to Ukraine by the Pentagon.

The Russians are not suffering right now. The Ukrainians and EU are the ones suffering and in the EU, they are the ones that have been on the streets far, far more than Russia.
Russians that take to the streets probably don't get heard from again. May have something to do with it.

Yes, all NATO's fault. So glad the Russians don't do this.

"Bout, a former Soviet military officer, was serving a 25-year prison sentence in the United States on charges of conspiring to kill Americans, acquire and export anti-aircraft missiles, and provide material support to a terrorist organization."

The irony of these Russians lecturing anyone about shooting down a civilian airliner shouldn't be lost.
