I disagree. I believe we are obligated under the Budapest Memorandum. I've also said numerous times that if we wanted to renege in those obligations, then we should compensate them for their material losses in complying with the Budapest Memorandum.

Ukraine hasn't asked the US to fight the war for them, only for the tools to do so and the support to keep Ukraine functioning while they fight.

I think if the only reason your still in a war today is because of another country support the. Your not really at war, your just the location for a war between the 2 country invading and supporting, hence a proxy war..
