War in Ukraine

why does he need to travel to do that. I would figure if it was actually critical for the war effort, that dog and pony show wouldn't be necessary.
Because they are fools…and they live amongst us. The thought process of bureaucrats and policy wonks are unlike any other. Look at the Afghanistan withdrawal. Telegraphed every move to the enemy, got a lot of people killed and called it a success. Our “leaders” are stupid beyond belief.

It would appear that in response to Iran supplying missiles to Russia, we're going to allow Ukraine to use ATACMS inside of Russia proper.

Think about it... US ballistic missiles will be raining down on 'Russian cities' soon. If this doesn't draw out Russian tactical nukes, nothing will. 2 years ago, we were afraid to even supply Ukraine with tanks, now we're greenlighting long range missile attacks up to 300 kms towards Moscow.

This is a big red line we're about to cross IMO. I support the move, as ATACMS will totally **** up Russian logistics and C&C, and it's long overdue in leveling the playing field... but, it is a risk.

"“I talked to Blinken two days ago, and he is traveling with his counterpart from the UK to Kyiv to basically tell them that they will allow them to hit Russia with ATACMS,” Michael McCaul, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, stated."

We've also given them the green light to use ATACMS on Russian soil... Whole lotta Russian **** gonna feel some IRON RAIN soon.

Our present to you, Vlad. Like the Jelly-of-the-Month Club, it's the gift that keeps on giving. In this case, you can use the jelly as lubricant. Enjoy!

such a good thing they needed to wait for a press release to warn the enemy about it. instead of just silently giving the go ahead days ago, and letting it be surprise to Russia.

Yeah. Pretty standard fair for some reason.

Honestly, though, there's a **** ton of square that are now vulnerable to an ATACMS strike at any moment. Russian AA does have the ability to intercept them, but it would appear to be the exception, not the rule.

This new ability will really help Ukraine **** with Russian logistics.

More Russian puffery...

"Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned NATO alliance leaders that a move to lift restrictions on Ukraine’s use of longer-range Western missiles to strike deep inside his country would be considered an act of war.

“This will mean that NATO countries – the United States and European countries – are at war with Russia. And if this is the case, then, bearing in mind the change in the essence of the conflict, we will make appropriate decisions in response to the threats that will be posed to us,” Putin told reporters on Thursday."

It may just be an empty threat, but I wouldn't want to take any chances.

The propaganda is strong in this thread. It underscores how the Biden/Harris Administration has been allowed to get the US in an escalating conflict with no accountability from the mainstream state media.
