He's saying he'd use the military against political opponents. He named Schiff and Pelosi, by name. Its unbelievable that any political party would put up with that, and the fact that it has become normalized for Trump says as much about you as it does him.

I'm on record not voting for either of them. But what can't be ignored is the absolute dishonesty you accept from the gov that is directed at him. Point me to a post of yours critzing the FBI and Hunter laptop. One where you were bothered by the Steele dossier. I don't condone any POTUS using the military against a political opponent. With that being said, you should be condemning Adam bish azz Stiff for wasting this country's time with the Russian collusion nonsensical investigation or any politician that took part in it. What a complete waste of time and resources.

That is an EXTREMELY pathetic effort to explain away what he said, especially in that he doubled down on it by again singling out specific political opponents that fall into the "enemy from within" group he's talking about.

Now, I do not think the U.S. military would ever obey such an obviously unlawful and unconstitutional order. I think that even if Trump were of a notion to issue such an order, his own staff would explain to him why he cannot do that.

But the fact that he makes such comments, and then defends them, to appeal to voters that champion his view of people like Schiff or Pelosi as actually communists, marxists, or whatever label he puts on them tells me two things: It tells me that the audience he is speaking to is incredibly intolerant of their point of view, and it tells me that Trump has no problem exploiting that irrational point of view if he thinks it will help him, and despite the damage it does to our collective identity.

It's so strange to hear negative comments about our MIC. The military is what made our country great. We spend more than the next 10 countries combined on our defense budget for a reason - to stay the strongest military power in the world. The MIC is an integral part of this equation. Raytheon and the rest of the gang are no more of an evil corporate entity aimed at bilking you out of your hard-earned money than Amazon. I say THANK GOD our MIC has most of the leading-edge technology in military applications compared to the rest of the god forsaken world.

The amount of money laundered and fleeced in our military budget is insane.

I'm fine with national defense, I've tired of pointless turnstile conflict over the years however. Relentless warmongering around the world that less fortunates bear the brunt of....... You can only hurt people around the world to enrich the mongers for so long until the chickens come home to roost.


And when they come home to roost the mongers will be safe in their mountain bunkers, it's you and I that will suffer.
