Even if I didn't think the Ukraine wasn't a pawn, I haven't heard of any realistic plan for nearly 3 years now. One could say they haven't even offered an unrealistic plan.

This lady is trying to compare it to Russia during WWII i.e. send whoever you can to the frontline. I have commented on this possibly being a part of a plan but its not a plan by itself. Throwing meat to the wolves can work, but you still need a plan. The Russians had a plan during WWII, they threw meat to the wolves while training, organize, and arming their military on the back side. So, the goal was to slow up the Germans so that the real army could come in large, organized numbers.

She just want all the Ukrainians to die for the West.

Stop funding will speed up resolution of the conflict.

For long term peace logically either a third party is going to have to annex (or similar - although I have doubts there are any takers if Poland isn't interested), or Russia pushes the Ukrainians into Poland (or in the alternative processes them). I have no idea why the Russians would want to annex Western Ukraine, nobody really does.

What else is there?

Maybe Trump has something in mind, but the comments of Gabbard don't really reflect reality.

Ukraine is one of the worlds top agricultural producers and exporters. The central part of the country has some of the worlds richest soil.

It's a poor criminal nation which is now a welfare state which will require huge amounts of funding which will mostly likely be a problem. If the Polish don't want it, doubt they find a buyer but I could be wrong on that. We'll see.

I think the idea of some grand solution because of Trump is misplaced. Stopping payment, sure, maybe. I think the guy in the twitter link is bonkers.... Presidents don't have long term say so in this country. What he is suggesting doesn't address the problem the Russians have.

There is no real off ramp for the Ukrainians and Russians. I'm trying to figure out exactly what would be negotiated.
