War in Ukraine

Summary: tRump lies continuously, Vance parrots the lies.
Must of saw the edited MSNBC version. Full segment showed Paddington Bear get aggressive with Vance and then reminded he’s not in control. Which part was a lie when Trump told Zelensky he won’t win the war?

Not the brightest crayon in the box
I'm not sure if there is a YT video she can share, but I'd love to hear her try to explain how in the hell not continuing to send Ukraine hundreds of billions of dollars with nothing in return is going to make the U.S. obsolete. 90%+ of Americans likely couldn't even locate Ukraine on a map 3 years ago. And I would guarantee you she was one of them.

The point was for it to be public. This was a rouse to create this narrative. It was about as effective as a hammer on a tonsillectomy, but it was by design.
I mean that's possible but it's also equally possible a guy that was at the end of his ropes and want getting what he felt he needed made a an unwise decision.

There was already a discussion apparently, he wasnt taken by surprise. If it was a trap it was a really stupid decision on his part to open it up and insert his foot.

But either way as I've stated earlier this should have happened behind closed doors, if there wasn't a meeting of the minds and framework agreed upon you send him home or let him cool for the night and meet him again tomorrow. Anytime but what happened, it was a terrible look all the way around.

Not how we should be carrying out diplomacy.

I really don't know what the argument is about? I've heard it a thousand times in this thread how Ukraine is winning this war. Now they can go ahead and take out Russia like everyone is this thread has been clamoring for! I'd guess, he'll be back for peace soon.

A part of me is wondering if, between this, and the JD Vance speeches in Europe; whether all these activities by Trump are part of a broader plan to continue to put pressure on leftist governments in Europe that were Pro-Biden and push the local MAGA causes (like AfD in Germany). Talking to a lot of MAGA people in the past, some of them consider leftist European regimes to be more of a threat than China and Russia.

Sadly, our politics are going global. Definitely not a good luck for both sides but we will see what happens...

He's getting angry because he promised a swift end to the war and he's realizing he can't just bluster a war away. Z not accepting the deal is proving that and Trump obviously set up this whole dog and pony show press conference to "wash his hands" of the situation. It was an embarrassing farce. Stop the flow of weapons and money and let Europe take the lead but don't gaslight the American public with that disaster.

I'm not sure about that. One thing you should do is put aside your disdain for Trump a couple of minutes and allow the idea he has a backup plan in his mind. He is a successful businessman and you don't go into negotiations without a backup of some sort.

My guess is there's something in the works on an international scale that Russia has already agreed to in spirit. Today was trying to get Ukraine on board for it, though I will give you it was the worst forum possible.

But no matter what, Zelensky showed his true colors today and I'm not sure he's going to have many people in Congress waving Ukrainian flags on his behest now. Except Never Trump Democrats of course.

This is just like the welcome, they normal talk in private than have a press conference. Starmer was itching yesterday too, because Europe is next. This was not going to end well and it didn't matter where it took place.

I and others have posted multiple times, including from Vance that the midget didn't want to hear that the war was ending.

I think there is even more going on in backrooms.
Probably.

It's my opinion Trump has never really liked Z anyway and never trusted Z with all that money and Trump did not care about what happened today. Trump wants someone else to be President of Ukraine that he can work with and Z maybe impeached by tomorrow.

Well, it seems pretty simple. Why is the U.S. involved? Meaning, Trump wants peace and the only way to do that is a deal, the midget has said over and over he isn't going to sign a deal with Russia. We got further confirmation today. 🤷‍♂️

He is stalling, begging and biting the hand that feeds all at the same time.

What true colors did he show? That's what I don't get. Should he have taken the bait? No, but he was put in a ridiculous situation in front of the press to be admonished like a toddler and talked down to. You want to act like that in private talks, go ahead. Taking that whole interaction public was an awful way to do things. He didn't disrespect the oval office unless you have a problem with his wardrobe with strangely seems to be an issue.

Yeah right, with the threats about you have an ocean between you and will feel it in the future? He acted like an idiot and then got embarrassed.

Considering Zelensky's approval rating at home is 20 points higher than Trump's is currently, that's not happening. If anything, Trump made him more popular today on the world stage.

Somewhere between an moron and a Mad Jester.

I don't know what you call it, but if Vance threw that shrimp into the fireplace it seemed justified to me.

And LG is worth more than Elon Musk.
