Directly is 50/50 or less which will become a stalemate in this country. Both parties offering extreme agendas always pits one against the other. We are currently experiencing this at the moment with more to come.
As tensions rise abroad they will also rise here as well and swell.
China will be the real winner in this mess.
Our ability to govern and be a dominant influencer has been on a steady decline since 1988 due to the steady decline in leadership, direction and politics.

And all the MAGAs blindly following Trump need to understand that. But at some point, this becomes a simple numbers game for Ukraine. Russia will outlast them and leave them decimated. There has to be a middle ground between total appeasement and a no win scenario.

There are only three possibilities.

1. Ukraine all of a sudden is to drive back the Russians and make them quit.
2. Russia beats them into submission and they surrender, annex Ukraine like Crimea.
3. Negotiate a settlement and Ukraine comes out with their country somewhat intact.

1 ain't happening so that's off the table. Anyone that think Ukraine can win this war is delusional at best, most likely mentally ill. Sure, they can extend their suffering but this will end in disaster and probably result in number 2 anyway. And for those that advocate endless US tax dollars going to Ukraine, those zero possibility of returns on that money.

2. Most likely scenario if 3 isn't achieved. It's going to end that way no matter how much money we send them. Sending them tax dollars only pushes the inevitable down the road.

3. A Negotiated peace. I suspect Ukraine will lose some real estate but averts losing their whole country.

The only way Ukraine wins this outright is if Europe and the US enter the conflict. If that happens you are looking at WWIII. How many of these war mongers are good with that?

If the U.S. falls, it all falls i.e. Reserve currency of the world. As far as anything direct, none of this has any real bearing... Europe was going to collapse anyway. Which is why they are in panic mode i.e. war with each other.
