War in Ukraine

You don't take out Putin. That's nuclear war. We need the citizens or his military to turn on him. Why do you think fat boy in North Korea wants a nuke? It assures no regime change. Same concept here.
Iā€™m not saying we should. But if someone in his near surroundings doesnā€™t get to him, that might not matter if he just says eff it and starts a nuclear war anyway. Weā€™re in a damned if you do/donā€™t situation. Letā€™s hope someone turns on him.

I think when all this ends, if we are still alive, you will see Ukraine and Poland be much bigger players on the European stage.
I don't think Putin is surprised at all by our response. I think he's shocked the rest of Europe jumped in on him as well. I think he thought they would leave him be for energy purposes. Oops. And China hasn't been a big help for either. Even though he's basically trying to turn Russia into a Chinese vassal state by having everyone else turn their back on him

When this is all said and done, where will Putin's decision to invade Ukraine rank in the pantheon of historical blunders?

Czar Nicholas II's decision to jump into WW1, he and his family ended up being shot in a basement, which resulted in the Communist revolution with the Soviet so that is number 1. Napoleon and Hitler invading Russia are top 5's definitely, along with Lee's decision to invade the North. IF he winds up being deposed then it was a pretty big blunder but I don't think he will be so as of right now not even cracking the top 20.
