A US Army Beech RC-12X Guardrail (surveillance/intelligence aircraft) flying orbits over Lithuania parallel to the Belarus border

A lot more activity again over over Poland and Romania - US, British, and NATO but with even German, French, and Danish planes - seems like a lot more cargo planes than earlier (especially European other than the Brits)

A NATO surveillance plane orbiting from Romania down over Turkey - they've been doing that - maybe keeping tabs on the Black Sea and Bosporus

Earlier there was a B-52 off the coast of Portugal/Spain - looked like it started out from England - probably not related but interesting

I think it is already an all-time backfire that could still get worse for him. He badly underestimated 1) Ukrainian military opposition and 2) the solidness of the Western opposition against him. He thought the EU/NATO would tear themselves apart deciding what to do about it, and any resistance would be weak and inconsistent. He was dead wrong.

Sorry McGill, but that ship has sailed. With Mercedes coming out with a 450 mile battery and more improvements ahead, the world is going electric.
But you haven't seen the real disruption yet. A huge number of automobile systems (fuel systems, water systems) just are not necessary in electrics. So those manufacturers will be hammered not to mention maintenance of those systems which means mechanics losing jobs. There's nothing you can do to reverse this, but the powers that be need to start planning for this displacement.

This is bullcrap. I have no problem with people that want EVs, the more rich people switch to them, the cheaper gas will get. There will always be a market for gasoline powered vehicles, there are a lot of things that are impossible for EVs, like long distance travel, and pulling campers, boats, etc etc long distances.

And once again...where is all this electricity going to come from? People are going to be apoplectic when electric bills skyrocket.
