I think it is already an all-time backfire that could still get worse for him. He badly underestimated 1) Ukrainian military opposition and 2) the solidness of the Western opposition against him. He thought the EU/NATO would tear themselves apart deciding what to do about it, and any resistance would be weak and inconsistent. He was dead wrong.

Yup. Even if he expected sanctions, he didn't expect it to get to the point where all of Europe shuts out Russian planes and even neutral countries are sending Ukraine weapons.

I get where you are coming from but I am thinking what he is referring to is efforts to limit us from discrimination by not racial-profiling people from certain hostile nations that are Islamic but yet being perfectly willing to discriminate against Russians or hostile white groups.

There is heavy sensitivity towards any actions against people that are not white which is a little worrisome as it puts us into two classes.

Seems rather high. I would like to know the Ukrainian losses to compare but I know no one wants to talk about that. Cant be this much losses on RU side without some serious losses on UKR side. I’m sure he’s got food and drink testers. His sitting so far away from everyone at the tables shows he knows people want to hurt him.
