Off topic of Ukraine, but we could all use something lighter. My next door neighbor is a Kentucky grad. His 13 year old son finally got excited about Kentucky football this year. Wore blue almost all season long. Very nice family and extremely nice young man. He started his own business here in the neighborhood. I pay him to mow my lawn and power wash the driveway, etc.

But he talked a lot of smack leading up to this game. For weeks he was giddy with excitement of the beat down coming my way. I suspect his dad secretly despises the Vols and his son understands we normally smack them around at will.

The week after the game was over, he didn’t say anything about it so I casually asked if he watched the game. Of course I heard about the missed face mask call.

But instead of arguing about it, I just said I needed to explain some things to him about the way of the world that he wasn’t old to have learned yet. No matter how good Kentucky is, you’re going to leave sad when you play UT. Because losing to Kentucky is unacceptable. We make kicking Kentucky ass a way of life in Knoxville. It’s what keeps the sun rising each day.

I’m sorry your dad hasn’t explained this to you yet. I’d encourage you to go talk to him about to get the specifics.

“Hive mind” that’s a damn good description of most of the world right now. I think the Hive Mind greatly underestimated the potential cost of escalating hostilities with Russia.

Then why talk like them and vote for them?

You played word games game with socialism, democratic republic and constitutional republic while defending 'social democracy', then didn't reply when challenged on it. You mocked another poster who stated higher energy cost - artificially and purposefully inflated by the left - hurts people like himself. You used 'voting in GA' as example of systemic racism, which couldn't be less true.
