War in Ukraine

You guys clearly have not paid attention to the 2017 Tax Act. Massive corporate tax cuts while increasing the taxes on your retirement plans when they pay out. That doesn't make sense to me. But if you're ok with paying more so GM pays less, ok.

My favorite is Cawthorn . This week he proposed immediately terminating social security so older people would have to go back to work.
Corps don't pay taxes. Cawthorn's a moron but you haven't read the actual doc. You're critique sounds exactly like articles (actually it looks like just one being passed around) I just googled that really stretch the truth

The US did in Iraq
I think he is trying to suggest that the ceasefire isn't about wanting to evacuate civilians, but because he thinks the Russians are losing and wanting to find a graceful exit. That's why he put the "Hmmmm..." in there at the end.

Ukraine’s Armed Forces launch counteroffensive in Kharkiv direction, destroying enemy tanks
05.03.2022 00:16

In Kharkiv direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are pushing Russian troops to the border and destroying their tanks.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine withstood the attack of the aggressor, and now they not only repel [the attack] but have already launched counteroffensive. For example, they pushed the enemy's line from Kharkiv towards Sumy direction, completely taking up the positions of the state border," Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Synegubov said on the evening of March 4, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Center f

Corps pay taxes, they just pass that cost to consumers. Progressives love taxes on corps because they think they’re sticking it to soulless corporate entities, but they’re really just increasing the costs of goods and services that the average joe pays. It’s the worst kind of tax, one that is hidden from the public.

Ukraine’s military was not a threat to Russia, if it weren’t supplied by the West and Europe it would have folded days ago. Ukraine isn’t in NATO and probably never will be. This is on Russia and the hatred between Ukraine/Russia existed well before NATO existed. If you will recall, when Russia ceded territory to the Central Powers after their humiliation during WW1, the area of Ukraine went into civil war with the Russians during the Revolution. During WW2, tens of thousands joined the Germans to fight against the Soviets. The anti Russian feelings in Ukraine are prevalent and Russia knew this, exploited it, and used it as an excuse to invade Ukraine; blaming NATO is a convenient excuse for Russia.

Update on the Ukrainian counter offensive in Karkhiv:

Seeing more posts from additional sources that suggest Ukrainians attacked the Russians in the middle of the night using the night vision gear that - apparently - many or most Russian troops don't have. May have surprised them. There are claims they wiped out an entire regiment.

"This actually lines up with some footage that’s been coming out of Ukrainian forces inspecting abandoned Russian equipment near Kharkiv. They attacked at night, likely catching the Russians off guard. Their objective was probably to push the Russians back in order to prevent further shelling of the city. The implications of this are huge, because Kharkiv was one of their main targets and now their offensive there seems to have been dealt a major blow."
