War in Ukraine

It is ok to be looked at if you have done nothing wrong. They are not attacking Americans. Your individualism is intact. All the laws that attack individualism (like the patriot act) were republican. Democrats will not attack your individualism ... yet. Not now at least. When they do I will vote republican.

LOL!!!

So I see data that says that 18000 US service members have died in the last 15 years.

Russia has managed to get 10,000 KIA, in less than 2 weeks, reportedly.

Yes, you need to overthrow him.
On the Eastern Front, Stalin could get 10k killed before lunch on an average day. No one overthrew him 😉

An argument could be made that now with social media and tech savvy westerners, many of these soldiers can see more of the truth of what’s going on the world and aren’t as quick to do something just because they are told to do it. So many of the Russians have shown their hearts are not into this war. Putin is not controlling the narrative as well as he hoped.

Oh hell... so right now (allegedly) the reason why the bulk of the Ukrainian Army is in the east (up to 60k troops) is because they were planning an invasion on the Donbas, but Russia sniffed it out and intervened. Now, those troops are being surrounded in a "cauldron". This also may explain why you are not seeing much military activity in Kyiv with that convoy just sitting there for the most part unmolested.

Also, there are Blackwater ops imbedded amongst them. Now, what happens if American contractors are caught up in this cauldron and taken prisoner?

no need to when you’re the one attacked.

This is a baseless war he started. Sorry, military operation.

But I’d say some were trying, but we’re too busy getting imprisoned and murdered.
I understand your point an agree with it. The point I was trying to make was two fold. 1) Russian/Soviet strongmen are difficult to dislodge even when exhibiting incompetence. You don’t reach that position unless you have very strong survival skills and a potent power base in the first place. And 2) For the Russians/Soviets, high body counts are just numbers on a ledger sheet. That culture has never collectively valued human life (even among its own) the way we do in the West.

Who is going to pay for these replacement aircraft? Poland or US taxpayers?

I'm honestly not sure how much military aid still flows to Poland.

But I suppose they could start importing more vodka, sausage and canned hams to raise some money to pay.

I'm not sure if Russia really wants Poland to have a couple of squadrons of F-35s and the F-15X. That's a dangerous combo.

Now that's some Grade A propaganda right there.
But if it were true, seems Putin would have been a lot smarter to have waited until after Ukraine invaded Donbas. That will go down as one of the worst mistakes and dumbest moves in Russian history.

Why would he wait for them to attack Donbas?
