He's not wanting to destroy critical infrastructure or have to kill a vast number of fellow Slavs that share a cultural history with Russians. Had this been an American/NATO venture, there wouldn't be a building over 3 stories tall left standing in the east.

They've been close to Saudi Arabia since the early 1970's for some reason. Probably a bit longer than that.

I cannot put my finger on why Israel would seem to be pivoting towards Russia in this instance, however.

That could be the case. Really none of us know for certain what is going on because of the sketchy news that has been flowing out. However, my opinion about all of this changed within the first 3-4 days after I noticed that the reporting and the words spoken didn't match some of the actions taken. It didn't help that some of the stories in the early days of the conflict ended up getting debunked, also.

Coming from you, that is a fair criticism and I do try to weigh that out as much as I can, believe it or not. I just wish that those on the other side, especially after what we've seen out of this COVID nonsense over the last 2 years, would make an effort to do the same.

I'll admit that the things happening around the world at large have made zero sense to me. I'm seeing control systems failing at a global level, and every major leader thats been in the news are lying, hypocritical scumbags

There has been speculation we are now at DEFCON2 so we’ve likely got Looking Glass and TACAMO birds airborne along with their fighter escorts. They would need airborne refueling.
