War in Ukraine

There has been speculation we are now at DEFCON2 so we’ve likely got Looking Glass and TACAMO birds airborne along with their fighter escorts. They would need airborne refueling.
What’s the point of having the E-4 & E-6 up at the same time? Why 2 different platforms?

I think they combined the Looking Glass mission to the E-6B TACAMO birds. But if we’re really at DEFCON2 I’d expect we have multiple C&C birds up. The TACAMO birds I think are the sub launch link not sure an E-4 if it’s still around carries that antenna.

Freaking great..If we come out of this without WW3 we will be lucky.

He's not wanting to destroy critical infrastructure or have to kill a vast number of fellow Slavs that share a cultural history with Russians. Had this been an American/NATO venture, there wouldn't be a building over 3 stories tall left standing in the east.

If I was planning to steal someone's car, I would not start by blowing it up.
He probably thought that his "fellow Slavs" would be more welcoming.
Now he's learning their level of resistance and that he "will have to kill" them to take their land.

Meanwhile, them sanctions...

Putin Warns Attempts To Prevent Russian Exports Of Fertilizers, Oil, Gas Will Have 'Serious Consequences' | ZeroHedge

“This obstruction of supplies concerns energy carriers, oil. Of course, it concerns gas, including liquefied gas. This also concerns fertilizers and some other goods, metals, and so on, chemical products in the broad sense of the word. As for fertilizers, then, of course, if this continues further, it will have serious consequences for this segment of the world market and for food in general,” Putin said, according to TASS.

Russia produces 50 million tons of fertilizers every year, accounting for 13 percent of the world’s total, according to Reuters.

All three source materials that go into fertilizer (phosphate, nitrogen, potash) are subject to abject shortage. And even if the war were to stop tomorrow, it’s already too late. It’s too late for the planting season for the Northern Hemisphere this year,” Zeihan said, adding that the crisis could potentially hit Brazil, Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia the hardest.

These nations, he said, would likely not see enough yields that are “necessary to support the global population.”

There was a bot on twit that keeps track of planes over dc i saw. It reported the plane and then it quickly vanished. I saw a second hand report saying people saw a military chopper fully loaded flying around. Saw another second hand that said there was an armed man that snuck into a military base. Might have something to do with that? It's all circumstantial.

It's been very quiet here today.

You’re mocking sanctions by positing quotes of Putin whining about them?
He's giving a warning to the Northern Hemisphere and to people who like to eat. This is going to affect not just Russia... if farmers can't plant, food will be in shortage and prices will go sky high.

The people that have gutted this country and made it as dependent on imports as it is right now are the true enemies of the people, not Putin. They need to be hanging from lampposts...

We've allowed plenty of bad decisions related to reliance on foreign powers.
Germany's dependence on Russia for energy is a bigger problem right now.
We can still recognize Putin as a bad guy though.

So, the world is supposed to sit back and watch Russia and China ransack Ukraine because Russia can’t get the job done on their own?
So far I've been wrong about everything concerning this war. But it's just hard to believe China would get involved directly in this cluster****.
