No, I'm being serious. What are the real drawbacks besides to dubious special missions get exposed and a few bad actors get smoked?
Embarrass partners, enemies. It could completely wreck alliances etc. You're a savvy guy, I know you could come up with 20 more negative scenarios.

And there it is...

So the Ukrainians refused to abide by the 2015 ceasefire agreements... and here we are.
The Russians were every bit as complicit in that ceasefire agreement, they helped those taking up arms against Ukraine in eastern territories. They violated those agreements as well. You know tit for tat.

Napoleon, the Poles, and germany twice in the last century attacked Russia from the European plain that Ukraine rests in. Add in the potential risk of NATO nukes and conventional armaments being staged in the same region, and you begin to see the legitimate security concerns that Russia has.

I think in the last few moments, we've had a breakthrough in the discussions. @landscapingvol and @AM64 are acknowledging that countries have to act in order to prevent any security risks on their borders based on past history and @KB5252 has stated that if you attack a neighbor and that neighbor wins, then they have the privilege to claw back some territory.

My work here is done. We are all in agreement and I was finally able to get you all to see the world through Russia's perspective. Great job guys.
The problem here is Ukraine nor Georgia attacked Russia. They just dared to remove Russia's thumb from their affairs. And for that they get attacked and invaded. Boiled down to the basics that's what this is. Russia simply wants to reassert itself in standing by holding the world hostage with a nuclear weapon. You can parse it any way you want but that's what's happening here.

Russia likely has more advanced nukes at this point tbh. We agreed to stop nuke production, this MF'r has obviously been saving up. We did so with the understanding the rest of the world collectively could stop russia if necessary. Collectively, we equal about russia as far as nukes.

You mean the Soviet Union purges? You're talking about that history?
Russia had plenty of pre Soviet purges. Have you not read of how Tsar Nicholas II would immediately fire any advisor, general, or cabinet member tje second your namesake Rasputin expressed any displeasure with that individual to the Tsarina?

Hero woman Saves FIFTY French Bulldogs from Ukraine: Dog breeder drives 173 miles through war zone twice to save her beloved animals and bring them to Poland

Twenty French bulldogs have been pictured crammed in a car while their Ukrainian owner fled Russian bombs in her home outside of Kyiv - and even went back to the warzone to rescue 30 more 'defenceless animals'.

Olena Lukash, 53, from Kyiv, said she 'didn't believe a war could start' in her home country until Russian shells began to land near her house since the invasion on Ukraine began on February 24.

However, the 53-year-old soon realised she would have to save her 'four-legged children' from the terrifying threat as she decided to flee her home and head for Poland.

Photos show 20 of the dogs squeezed into the kennel owner's Hyundai Tucson for the four-day drive, with the pooches blissfully unaware of the terror they were escaping.

Remarkably, after Olena and her husband Alexander left the dogs in Poland they then returned to their Russian-occupied town to rescue 30 more and then fled to Vinnitsa, 173 miles away from Kyiv.

Next week, the 53-year-old breeder from Kyiv will face the same gruelling drive back to Poland, but Olena admits money is running out fast.

The couple face a £378 (₴14,699 Ukrainian hryvnia) bill each week just to feed the dogs.

Olena, from Kyiv, Ukraine, said: 'My dogs are my children. My job is my dogs. These are all French Bulldogs - my favourite breed for 30 years now.

Thank god. It's about time. You're worse than a broken record playing heavy metal. We've all heard you over....and over....and over again. Take a break. Go play with your dog or yourself. Get some sun. Just ***** go.

Do you actually believe we stopped our nuclear research and advancement?

It has been a tactic of the Russians to goad Ukraine into breaking the ceasefire to justify an incursion. Keep hugging pooty poots nut sack.
Even Putin is quoted as openly stating it wouldn’t last. But that’s a good get for him! Seize territory and then get a cease fire “negotiated” at gun point, then have shills like Ras hold it up as having any value in discrediting Ukraine from working to restore their sovereign boundaries
