Utter nonsense; that's a meme going on in your head to create your own strawman so you can set fire to it.
No one here has defended, for instance, the Iraq invasion but rather the inverse. The U.S. and UK acted without a second resolution; that's actually against the charter and principle of self defense, rather than exercising a presumed, preemptive self defense.
Now, either the UN Sec. Council sanctioned Ukraine's invasion and didn't tell anyone about it, or he doesn't feel that way now, eh?
Russia has no security concerns re: Ukraine. And your argument boils down to an infantile mess that because the U.S. did wrong, Russia is justified in doing wrong.
Volgr told me how smart his 5th grader is, but got silent when I posted hypotheticals from them. Maybe you can take up where he left off.
While I agree with the general unjustness of Russia invading, to say they have no security concerns re Ukraine is sophomoric at best and blatantly dishonest at worst. No, of course Russia isn’t worried about Ukraine invading but a child knows they worry about the US and NATO using it as a base to destabilize Russian gov, influence the population and put serious NATO weapons right on their border. Personally, I’m fine with is doing that but can understand why the Russians wouldn’t be.
