War in Ukraine

We should have listened to Patton and turned the remaining German Army around and took Stalin out.
Sounds good, but there wasn't enough left of the German Army to turn around. They were down to 16 year old boys. Would have fallen mainly on the U,S, and UK. WE would have gotten to Moscow just in time to watch our armies wither in the winter. There is way too much depth to Russia to take it in a traditional sense.

Why? Can't Europe do something in their own backyard? When do we stop?

Europe is a huge trading partner with the U.S. If Russia pushed into Poland and beyond (personally I think the western Europeans would smash them) the U.S. would likely get involved....even taking NATO out of the equation.

They have corrupted timeframes. Part of it is due to Russia not using heavy "shock and awe" bombing before they sent in ground troops. The other part of it is their narrative needs to be that Russia is being bogged down in a quagmire and it helps set the stage for them to run a false flag, then they can say that Putin got desperate and had a temper tantrum bio attack or chemical attack... or nuclear attack.
This is Mariupol. Looks pretty shock and awe to me 🤡

Ukrainians have pushed Russian forces back to the east of Kyiv, US official says

Ukrainian forces have pushed Russian forces back on the frontlines east of Kyiv, a senior US defense official told reporters Wednesday.

Russian forces are about 55 kilometers (roughly 34 miles) away from Kyiv’s city center to the east, an increase of between 25 and 35 kilometers (roughly 15 to 22 miles) as compared to the same location yesterday, the official said.

To the northwest of Kyiv’s city center, Russian forces are “digging in, and they are establishing defensive positions,” the official said. They have not gotten any closer to Kyiv’s city center along this line, the official added. They remain 15-20 kilometers (9-12 miles) away from Kyiv’s city center to the northwest.

At the same time, the official said that Russian forces are becoming more active in the eastern part of Ukraine in the Donbas area, saying they’ve “applied a lot more energy” in the Luhansk and Dontesk regions, the two areas the Kremlin declared as independent republics ahead of last month’s invasion.

“We’re starting to see them sort of dig in around Kyiv, but really trying to go more on the offense than they have been, more energy apply to that eastern part,” the official said. “So that’s a little bit of a change from what we’ve been talking about before.”

I just hope they aren't backing off to make room for large or chemical munitions.

lol.....Certainly not dumb enough to blame Biden for Ukraine.

Yeah he clearly had nothing to do with it 🙄🙄🙄. Good lord man. I guess you are all for Bidens ridiculous sanctions that are not only hurting innocent Russian citizens but many other countries around the world including here?

The warhawks are geeked up. There's money to be used and made. Use tax dollars, but door it to revenue streams to corporations. This fulfills a deep desire they've had for 6-7 years.

This gets pushed down the road, but Putin comes back stronger. Next time will not be so easy. Also, we are about to enter a period of economic recovery that might not take place. We learn to speak Russian fluntly. That is, the ones that survive the initial strike.

Thank your boy Biden for this.

Undoubtedly.
That's why I've always claimed it would have to be across the board. Double for the military.
Something like 3% across the board cuts, 6% for military.
Also would probably need to be packaged with some tax changes.

How about the elimination of foreign aid? You did that as well?
